"I SHOOT IN A RIMFIRE LEAGUE AND NORMALLY SHOOT SUB 1 INCH GROUPS AT 50 YDS WITH ANOTHER BRAND OF AMMO. I PURCHASED THIS AMMO TO TEST. OUT OF 200 RDS THE SMALLEST 5 RD GROUP I WAS ABLE TO ACHIVE, WAS 1.75 IN. WITH NUMEROUS FLYERS AND OUT THE 200 RDS, I HAD A TOTAL OF 29 MISFIRES. MAYBEE THIS WAS A BAD BATCH, BUT, I WON'T BUY THIS AMMO AGAIN !!!"

"I began using this ammo in the mid-70s along with many of my fellow league members. We ALL had numerous misfires with this ammo.In fact, we began throwing our misfires into a 2lb. coffee can and had it filled in less than a month.More than 30 years later Remington STILL hasn't corrected the problem which is the lack of quality control during the priming phase of production. One of the MUSTS when competing is that the gun go \"bang\"...always!"

"I have an older High Standard with a custom barrel of 5 1/2\" , I was able to get a 1/2 inch group at 25 yards with this ammo. Not even close to that with Federal Gold which costs 3 times as much. No luck with CCI target either and that is also twice as much.I do agree with others , to many rounds that do NOT fire, Currently looking to find another brand of standard vel that shoots as well.It is all what your gun likes not us."
