"Excellent item doesn't seem like they have been used at all!"
5.0 5
"Very nice pouches, looked brand spanking new, screaming price and very durable feeling, will be going onto my belt, one thing is they were different designs, one was kind of curved and another was a little straighter."
5.0 5
"Mine arrived pressed flat and smelling like an East European warehouse, they have obviously never been issued. The construction is heavy duty and durable. I have packed both standard steel 30rd mags and Tapco polymer 30rd mags and they both fit fine, nice and snug. At this price these are probably the best mag pouches on the market for civilian shooters and collectors."
5.0 5
"For thet price you get a well constructed pouch that can be used for anything, and has belt loops. Very happy!"
4.0 5
"They stink like a Russian factory, but they do the job and do it well. No rattling and almost no noise when I got it fully loaded."
5.0 5
"Got 4 four of these for my AK mags. They fit great inside. I have a mix of Tapco and metal mags, no problems with any of them fitting. Great match to the German Day pack that I also bought from CTD a year ago."
5.0 5
"Love this bag, will be buying more. Perfect fit for tapco and metal mags."
5.0 5
"Received these (x2) brand new. I think all of CTD's stock of these are new reading all the other reviews. Fits four regular stamped AKM steel mags, Circle 10, Tapco, etc.. as stated. Sadly.. doesn't fit four Saiga .308 mags.. Why purchase the newest (Probably made in china) AK-mag-chest-rig with some laughable and ridiculous three or six letter acronym like: \"OBMMP\" *(Operational Belt Mounted Magazine Pouch)*..that'll probably rip or tear and cost you anywhere from $50 to $150. ..When you could purchase dozens of these time tested and proven mag pouches?! For what $3.00 a piece, what have you got to lose?!Better yet, compare your \"OBMMP\"-craptactical gear against these and see the difference. =]"
5.0 5
"I bought these for AK mags (which work great) but they also neatly hold my Magpul polymer AR mags (for my KelTec SU-16). In fact, it holds six of these and still closes nicley. What a deal!"
5.0 5
"Works with tapco ak mags, steel ak mags, the Blackdog AR15-style 22lr mags, and GSG-AK mags. Thinking about buying more."
5.0 5
"Maybe it's me, but I wasn't actually sure if the four pouches were totally independent of each other. They are and I'm very pleased. These appear to be unissued surplus which I like even better. I may get more! CTD comes through with some great items at great prices and they process/ship your order very quickly. I've been a customer since 2008 and will continue to be!"
5.0 5
"New condition. Stink came off with wash in warm water and dish soap. Heavy duty military gear."
5.0 5
"Like brand new condition. Exactly what I expected. Don't expect to attach this easily to your load out though. It has 2 belt loops on the back etc. Great product."
5.0 5
"For those looking to repurpose this, it holds eight boxes of Tulammo 9mm x 50rd. Plus it matches perfectly the backpack CTD has for sale as well. Happy camper here."
5.0 5
"Just got mine today. Looks and feel strong for field use. It was a good buy and I plan on buying a lot more of this!"
5.0 5
"I bought four of these and they are great quality! They look brand new. It fits four Tapco 30 round AK-47 mags very well. They are a little snug, but they are supposed to be. I will buy more in the future! Also, you cant beat the price!"
5.0 5
"Heavy duty material. Four pockets. I don't own an AK, so I plan on using this for other gear. I Bought two. One for me, and one for myself."
4.0 5
"I don't have an AK but thought this would be a good bag to hold all my mags. Roomy and seems to be made of good material."
5.0 5
"Bought two of these for my AK mags. Excellent quality. A little pricey, but worth it! The loops on the back won't fit my military cargo belt, so I will have to modify them by about a 1/2 inch. But that's no big deal."
4.0 5
"Great mag pouch. Only one flaw: Tapco plastic mags get hung up while removing and putting into the mag pouch. I suggest using the metal Euro mags with this pouch."
5.0 5
"Great pouch, no smell. Seems as if it's brand new. Fits four of my Saiga ProMag 30 rd mags. Great stuff, CTD. I love you guys!!!!"
4.0 5
"Got this in the mail with my East German combat pack. Arrived 2 days before estimated arrival, which was great. Only problem with mine is that the buckles do not match the ones in the picture and are more complicated to open and close the pouch. The pouch will get caught on Tapco mags, but metal mags work great. All around good pouch"
5.0 5
"Pouch arrived in good condition and appears to be very well made. Will hold four steel AK mags perfectly. But I doubt you will carry this on your belt, as the weight will pull the belt off your waist, assuming you could find a standard utility belt that will fit through the small belt loops. Very nice bag!"
5.0 5
"Thick canvas and a good size for most mags or boxes of extra ammo."
4.0 5
"This mag pouch came in very good shape and was CHEAP. However, I can't quite close it with all 4 magazines inside it. It's great for storage at home, though."
5.0 5
"This arrived looking brand new with no tags. Holds four mags and closes for me. The straps should fit most standard belts, but not a USGI pistol belt. The parts are strong fabric and are secured very well. The perfect pouch. For less than half the price of the same thing elsewhere, what more could you ask for? Thanks CTD!"
5.0 5
"I use mine for AR mags, and it works great."
5.0 5
"I can fit 4 Saiga ProMag 30 rd. mags in this and the flap closes completely. I am totally happy with it and CTD!!!!! You guys rock and you have the best prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
4.0 5
"Of the two pouches I ordered, one measured 10.5\" X 7.5\" X 2.5\" (overall exterior measurements) and is absolutely brilliant! Not only is it like new, but it easily holds 4 Tapco synthetic magazines. It is a wonderful piece of kit! Unfortunately, the second pouch measured 8.5\" X 6.5\" X 2.5\" (overall exterior measurements) and will in NO WAY hold the same Tapco synthetic mags. The size difference between the two pouches was apparent upon opening the well packaged parcel. The smaller size pouch is a disappointment. This discrepancy in size could easily explain why the reviews posted here vary. If I could specify the larger pouch when ordering, I would order more immediately. Perhaps I can use the smaller pouch as a utility bag."
5.0 5
"I ordered two pouches on different occasions. The first one was a little tight but fit four plastic AK 30 rd mags. The second pouch was looser so four mags fit pretty easily! So basically, they are very sturdy pouches and smell just like military gear my dad brought home from the Air Force when I was little. Just know they seem to fit an ordinary leather belt, not a pistol belt!"
5.0 5
"I ordered 10, and besides really fast shipping, all 10 looked new. The AK-47 mags were a bit tight but worked fine. This was an awesome deal!"
5.0 5
"Ordered four and only one looked like it was dropped (once); the other three were so new they felt like heavily starched jeans. Had to almost peel them open. Nice fit for all 30 round mags."
5.0 5
"Really can't go wrong. Holds 4 30 round AK magazines without difficulty. Even my bulky Tapco mags fit without problems. The pouch on the side is great for a double-stack pistol mag, which was a nice surprise (it's almost like it was designed for my G17 magazines). Great little pouch for the price."
4.0 5
"I bought 2 of these. They work great, and the condition of them was \"like new\". Nice place to store clips."
5.0 5
"Ordered one to see what it would look like. Didn't expect to receive one in a sealed pack new. Amazing."
5.0 5
"These work perfectly for the AR-15 Magpul 30 round PMAGs, which sometimes have difficulty fitting into AR-15 magazine pouches. I am buying more!"
5.0 5
"Great pouch at a great price. Four 30 rd Tapco mags fit tighter than standard metal mags but they do fit."
5.0 5
"I ordered these on a Saturday and received them on a Thursday. They are like brand new, but still stiff from years of not being used. They will serve my AMD 65 well."
4.0 5
"I gave 4 bullets for the price. I ordered 2, one is a little shady with rust/stain and the other is slightly used."
5.0 5
"This pouch is everything that is great about military surplus: tough, useful, and unbelievably cheap! Mine was brand spanking new; I even had to punch out the eyelets that secure the flap to the straps. It also has a cool ex-Soviet look to it that brings to mind stalkers searching for artifacts in Chernobyl, and at this price, there isn't any excuse why you shouldn't get one (or two)."
5.0 5
"I bought two, which showed up with the rest of my order in the usual 4-5 days. They are nice! Holds AR-15 mags. I mixed Magpul and Tapco together with no issues. The camo style is cool, and the flap and old school clasps work fine. On the rear, it has two decent heavy canvas belt loops and a 3rd vertical metal belt loop for attachment to gear. I'd buy more, but two is good. Good shot, CTD!"
5.0 5
"I bought three of them. They are like brand new. Very roomy. They are the best condition, best buy I've made in a mag pouch in 20 years."
5.0 5
"Work exactly like advertised and prompt shipping. Well done, CTD."
5.0 5
"I bought 8 of them, all like new, fast shipping, even though other gun dealers take weeks. I got mine in a couple of days."
5.0 5
"Bought two, one for me, and one for a buddy. Wish I'd kept both. Fits both the steel and the Tapco mags with just a bit of a push. For the money, it's great. They came like new."
5.0 5
"These are great! They will hold H&K g3 20 rd. clone mags snuggly , ruger mini 30 , and/or ak mags"
5.0 5
"so I bought these just to check them out being as there really cheap. I got 3. each holds 4 mags and you can fit ar mags as well. the ones i got were brand new. there pretty cool. the only thing is they are made to fit on to a belt so if your trying to put them on a mollie system your gonna have to rig some stuff up."
5.0 5
"Just like new. Extremely well built with great materials. Holds 4 mags like they advertised."
5.0 5
"these are like new and heavy duty.i bought 5..great deal..they even work well as cheap holders for my ak's 75 round drum magazines if you cut out the insides which is easy with a razor and some time."
5.0 5
"Assuming these are still cheap like when I bought them, these are great. Mine were brand new and do what they are supposed to."
5.0 5
"I purchased two of these to hold 2 of my tapco and 6 steel surplus magazines. They arrived in perfect condition. They are rugged, cheap, and get the job done. Very satisfied with this purchase."
5.0 5
"Got them today. Must say very nice and rugged feel. I ordered four and got two of the pictured pouches and another two newer looking pouches. Can fit these onto my belt with ease."
4.0 5
"I bought two of these pouches and they are very well built. Heavy duty canvas holds Ar-15 pouches nicely.. Gave them only 4 stars because the two pouches are slightly different, one is a little better design, but for $3 you can't beat these pouches! Highly recommend buying these. Great value"
5.0 5
"Just bought five of these pouches. As another reviewer pointed out, they are not all the same size. I got two that look like the picture (with a visible curve on one side) and three that didn't. I think maybe some of these were made for AK47 mags and some for AK74 mags (just guessing). I bought four E. German 74 mags about a decade ago that came in a pouch like this, with no curve and a small exterior pouch on the side that held a cleaning kit (apparently some of these have the side pouch too, as another reviewer mentioned it). Regardless, I was able to fit both Tapco and steel surplus mags comfortably into both styles (just a little snugger fit in the straight-side pouches). Excellent quality and all appeared like-new. Whichever AK you have (47 or 74), these should work for you. And at $3 a pop, you really can't go wrong."
5.0 5
"I got 10 of the mag pouchs and you can put alot of fire power in them. Not just AK-47. All others too. 5 BULLETS BEST THANKS CTD."
5.0 5
"I bought 5 of these pouches. You cannot go wrong with these pouches! Not only do they hold four 30 round AK mags, but they do a REALLY good job of holding 30 round AR-15 mags as well! All 5 of mine seem to be in un-issued condition. Four of mine have the obvious curve like the picture shows, and one is more straight. It doesn't matter if there is a curve or not, they hold AK and AR mags perfectly!!"
5.0 5
"these are amazing and at an amazing price, they ARE diffrent from the ones pictured but the diffrences are improvements of the old design,an additonal clasp and a seperat clasp to strech it out so they can fit the mags in more easily, the extra pouch also holds 100 rounds in boxes in the side pouch"
5.0 5
"Ordered two of these and both were exactly as pictured and in great condition. Fits my TAPCO mags very snug. I plan on ordering some combloc mags for the second one."
5.0 5
"I got the round-end type and it looks like it was never used. The fabric is clean, strong and looks brand new. The pouches fit 4 AK mags and can also be used to carry boxed or loose ammo. An excellent buy!"
5.0 5
"A buddy and I bought thirty (30) of these based on previous reviewer's comments. We were not disappointed!! Three (3) distinct styles of E.G. pouches were sent. But who cares, all were in new condition."
5.0 5
"Excellent quality for the price! I bought 3.."
5.0 5
"I bought one of these for the first four tapco mags I bought and these pouches are a great rugged and long lasting, simple pouch that wont let you down, canvas hasn't been wearing barely at all and is plenty heavy duty, the metal parts are very rust resistant too, still nice and shiny looking, the one thing is that the tapco mags can hang up a bit on the pouch but that's the waffling on the mag, not the pouch, get some smooth side versions instead of the original and it will come out much easier."
5.0 5
"I have 4 of these and I give them a thumbs up. Great for the price can't beat it."
5.0 5
"3 bucks you cant go wrong. I was able to fit 4 tapco mags perfect, strong material, and when closed feels secure. I would highly recommend this to any ak lover."
5.0 5
"Heavy duty, simple, 4 cell pouch that's brand new and is a decent color. A must have for AK owners. They fit on U.S. pistol belts. I ordered two and got different variations, one type has green webbing, and I found that you can attach Alice clips to them."
5.0 5
"Fast shipping, This is still one of the best deals around."
3.0 5
"The mag pouches themselves were in good condition. The problem is that I ordered two and they sent me two different types of bag. The difference is the belt loop and latching systems are different, straps and loops are different colors (green vs gray), and pouch is different color (1 much darker). This is all well and good if you are just collecting different pouches, but not if you plan on wearing both of them...Happy with either bag, just wish I had been told they might be different."
5.0 5
"I bought a handful of these to modify and use with the matching back (the $5.00 one, but no longer includes rubber waterproof liner. I would still buy it!)These are AWESOME.Mine were all little worn, and most of the metal pieces has collected a little rust & wear, but cleaned up nicely.I tore out the dividers from the inside to create one large pouch and I love it. Additionally, there is a little side pouch (perfect for a small fire kit) on the side... added bonus!"
5.0 5
"The 4 I got were in brand new condition. The canvas was so tight I had to force the flap closed with the bag full of magazines so it would stretch a little. The price is excellent for the product I received."
4.0 5
"These are durable mil-spec pouches at a great price. One major limitation - Tapco polymer AK-47 mags do NOT fit in the ones I received (not even close). The original metal AK mags fit great. Since these pouches were designed decades ago (long before Tapco AK mags existed) one can't fault this product - just understand this limitation if you are planning to buy these."
3.0 5
"The first few I ordered were very smelly and just the basic four cells. The most recent few I've gotten have had the extra little accessory pouch on the outside and were cleaner and less musty. For the price, even the stained and basic ones are okay, but the ones with the extra side pouch (which holds a surplus cleaning kit perfectly) are outstanding and appear to be brand new. 5 stars for them, 2 for the others, gave this a 3 overall for inconsistencies with multiple orders (as is often the case with surplus items)"
4.0 5
"I grabbed 10, 2 of them were able to fit 4 mags. 8 of them I cant close with 4 ak mags, but yet 6 ar mags fit fine. Am I doing something wrong? Overall great for the price. Well made, great price. I will still buy again"
5.0 5
"Item where used but not much, handy for 30 rd clips, they fit on your military belt and will handle sveral AK, AR, even SKS mags.Great item for the money."
3.0 5
"I ordered this for the AK mags I bought from CTD. The one I got must have been for the AK-74 because the top flap wouldn't close enough to use the buckle loops.I put 4 AR mags in it and they fit perfectly. So I guess it's not a total let down and it was cheap. Although the GP-5 Russian gas mask comes with a cloth bag for storage. Those will hold 4 AK mags with room for one more(probably). I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because it got here quick and I could still use it for my AR mags."
4.0 5
"Got them in the mail today, and wasn't all that disappointed. They smell like milsurp, and are in pretty good shape. The cloth itself is like new and sturdy. If there wasn't some tarnish and the beginning of rust on some of the metal parts, this would be a five-bullet rating."
5.0 5
"Got four of these, and they appear to be unissued/brand new. They're a different style than my other one, but they all take 4 AK mags or 6 of my aluminum 30-round AR-15 mags. The style I received even appears to have an external compartment for a cleaning kit or some-such. Certainly made tough and are a great deal for the price."
5.0 5
"My EG mag pouches arrived in near new,(and not too smelly, LOL) mint condition. Used a couple cable ties on each belt loop to allow attaching a strap and use as a mag bag."
5.0 5
"I bought 4 of these and all are in good condition. They hold 30-round 5.56 magazines nicely. They can also fit 20-round .308 magazines - it's a little tight but it works. The ones I received have the side pocket which can hold a spare pistol magazine. I'm very happy with these. I almost paid a lot more for a different kind of magazine pouch, so I'm glad I found these instead."
5.0 5
"Just like everyone else says, this is good gear. Bought 2, 1 for me and I will gift one to my cousin that walks the swamps. Holds 4 AR15 30rd mags just right and has belt loops for your belt to slip in. Is same camo pattern that the day packs are, and go nicely together. These I rcvd has an outside pocket and I'm thinking cell phone! Has a slightly bigger pocket inside that a small pistol would fit nicely into it. There are pen/pencil/tool slots in a front pocket. If you are a light duty maintenance guy, this is a good bag to walk around with tools in it. Just good stuff for the price."
1.0 5
"It would be one thing if the pouch was just frayed and worn out and grease stained. But mine arrived with the metal buckles missing!! Yep, no buckles so i couldn't close the pouch and secure the mags. I've bought these before from other places and they've always been in really good condition, with functional buckles, etc. This ones going back to CTD."
1.0 5
"The two I got had oil stains, water stains and neither would fit the 30 round mag as stated. The strap barely reaches the tab it is supposed to go into, One looked like someone tried to modify it by moving the brackets and the tabs and they tore the fabric and the interior dividers. CTD customer service was 5 star. I guess it's a coin toss as some were happy, but I don't see them fitting anything bigger than a 20 round mag, if that."
5.0 5
"I have ordered many of the ak-47 mag pouches over the years They come in different sizes shapes and colors witch I like. They have different belt loops straps and buckle's. Not just mag pouches but first aid cleaning kits tools the possibility's are endless. I put straps on some and give some away as gifts. Good pouches THANKS"
5.0 5
"Arrived in great condition, a little dark than the picture. Fits P-Mags and standard steel 30 round magazines. It has reinforced belt loops on the back and stays shut when you pull the straps through the rings. I might get another one."
5.0 5
"Do yourself a favor: buy more than one of these bags. Trust me, I wish I did. Granted, these pouches do NOT match the ease of fit and multiple usages of today's Molle system. They can actually be downright bulky & even a little awkward in comparison. BUT it WILL hold 4 AK mags, as listed, PLUS have 2-3 other slots for other items(depending on how you load mags) like a multi tool, flashlight, mini-baton, sharpie marker, pocket knife...you name it."
5.0 5
"The two I got were from different batches, with different belt loops. The condition was new. With some coaxing, they fit my 40 plus year old web belt. With 8 loaded Tapco and Magpul mags, a 1911 and canteen, you have to have Y straps, or the belt is on the ground. They are great for a day in the bushes."
