"I purchased this for my YUGO UNDERFOLDER. You will need a medal filer to shave some of the edges of the bottom hand guard to get it on for this rifle. I fought with mine for 3 hours trying to get this bottom piece on, until I realize I had to file it down about 1 centimeter. After the file down of a bout a centimeter. It went in tight and perfect."

"Went on my yugo underfolder in a snap... hardest part was pulling the old hand guard off of the gas tube. very sturdy. top rail is too high to co-witness with red dot... or even use iron sights with red dot installed. Attached laser and red dot held zero just perfectly through 100+ rounds at the range this afternoon."
"OK, Its an awesome set up, definitely must be the first thing you get for an ak. If you have a Vector Arms AK then get a dremil tool out from home depot then return it when your done using it. After a little bit of elbow grease it fits fine."

"it is a good looking product but it did take a little grinding and filing work for it to fit into place. couple minutes with a dremel and it was fine. didn't even need any of the shims and it is holding tight."
"I've been looking for this exact piece for almost two years now. It fits my Century built M70AB1 Yugo underfolder perfectly."
"Just buy it already."
"Item fits great on my Century Yugo AK-47 Underfolder. Easy-2-follow instructions when installing. Only problem i have is when stock is folded under the weapon, It doesnt seem to click in place fully. But was installed very nicely with NO modification at ALL on my model, and seems to be real sturdy for the range!"

"Good solid part, easy installation. Fits my M70 with just one shim."
"Hey, I just got my rail system installed, and I have to admit it was way better than whet I expected! It fir my Yugo M70AB2 just fine. The only thing I could say negative, is the stock will not lock in the folded position, but I can live with that. It makes the AK look like one bad mother!"
"Let some of the previous reviews have stated, I too had to do some grinding. I had to grind the bottom half in a few places: on the upper part of the backstraps so it would fit and move up fully, on both sides of the most rearward rails and then on the middle two of the bottom rails to get the stock to fold fully. (No point in having a under folding stock if it won't lock in place.) AND i dont use the included rail covers because they keep the stock from folding too; I would suggest buying the low profile flush fit rail protectors to make it skinnier and more comfortable. Nevertheless, I give it 4 bullets because it still looks great and is very functional, it's the only rail I've seen for these AK's, and I don't have to permanently modify the rifle itself one bit, perhaps the most important perk to a rifle increasing in value."

"This product looks, feels, and operates flawlessly. It is a high quality hand rail with endless possibilities for adding attachments and tools. It went on easy. I had to do a very slight grind on one corner and then it fit perfectly. The hardest part was getting my old hand rail off. Use a rubber strap wrench to get your original handles off. Makes life much easier. I am really glad I bought this."
"You may save a few dollars buying a plastic handguard set with rails, but don't. (I speak from experience.) The aluminum UTG rails are a far better product and are worth the extra money (the alternative is a $300 set from Ultimak). My installation required no gunsmithing but there was one fit issue. To align the two halves the lower foreend needed to be pushed forward 2-3mm from its original position. This prevented the collar from resting in its barrel groove, but the collar still is tight on the barrel and it is aligned with the similar piece on the gas tube so I think I'm OK. The forward placement of the foreend also required me to use three of the four provided spacers in front of the lower receiver. With a vertical grip mounted at the front of the rail and with rail covers installed behind it, the underfolding stock does lock into place. However I find that the more natural position for the grip is in the middle of the rail, which does prevent the stock from closing.I withhold a fifth bullet in this review because I do not know yet if the top rail is stable enough to prevent a scope's zero from wandering around. Even if not, the iron sights are usable."

"I installed mine with no modification and it looks great. Unlike some of the other reviews, my folding stock does still lock into place without any grinding. The hardest part I had to deal with was getting the original top cover off the gas tube! The instructions were easy to follow."
"Fit on my Yugo M70 Perfectly, no grinding at all. Seems rock solid and looks great. Only downside is the stock does not lock under the gun. Other than that great product!"

"Taking the cover off the gas tube was the easiest part, all you do is twist it off. Good piece to have on you gun, lots of options. Stock will not lock into place when folded, but still will fold."
"Installed this the other day. It took about 45 minutes to put on and the only trouble I had was a part on the barrel that held the old upper handguard didn't quite match up the new upper. So I used that age old solution, I forced it. I don't plan on ever taking it off or selling the AK. Mine is an underfolder and the stock won't lock folded, but I don't care. The rails look great and I can finally mount a red dot on it."

"Bought this for my son who is stationed in Iraq. Installed in a matter of minutes on his Century Arms AK. Looks great and is very functional. Took pictures and sent them to him, he was pleased. Fired his AK after the mods and no problems noted."
"I mistakenly bought this for my I.O. AK47C and it was too long. Swapped it for the 103 version for us arsenal and it works great."
"I absolutly love this grip. It is a tad bit heavier then the standard grip but it feels great and looks badass. Extremely easy to put on and fits like a glove. Like all the other reviews, you cant lock in the underfold but i really couldnt care less about that."

"Great product. It installs very easy and looks mean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quad rail."
"Now that it is on, I really enjoy this piece. It is rock-solid, and looks awesome. However, installing it was a pain in the rear. The upper and lower handguard brackets were not lined up properly to begin with, so I was forced to spend about an hour and a half grinding away to put this in place. It was a major pain. Now that it is in place, I am unable to insert the cleaning rod without manipulating it with a thin tool. Not too big of a deal, but it would have been nice if it came with a good guide to begin with. Again, now that it's on, I love the piece, but it was a pain to put on. Oh, and like others, the underfolder does not lock underneath."
"Emailed them to find out what rail would fit my Zastava PAP. They suggested the Yugo M70 and it fit perfect. Here's some photos of the install, http://robenglish.com/Zastava_PAP_UTG_Yugo_M70_Quad_Rail/index.htm"

"Fit perfect on my Zastava PAP"

"I purchased this forward rail for my Yugoslavian made M70B1 from century arms and i gotta say, it fits and looks great! Took about five minutes to install. No need to modify or gunsmith. After firing around 200 rounds through my AK with this rail on, i noticed there was no rattle whatsoever. This rail is built like a brick ****. Now if anyone knows where i can get a tactical stock for the M70 variant with a fixed wooden stock, I'll be able to complete my rifle."

"Good luck with your optics, I moved to an Ultimak mountjust use a Vltor side mounting flashlight."
"I installed this handguard on my M70 with no tools, and the very smallest amount of mechanical ability. Mine is an underfolder, and with the rubber rail covers removed the stock locks in the up position. The stock locks just fine. The hand guards come with shims that if you care to use them will lock the handguards rock solid. I would have no reservations using a scope designed for the location where the rails are. If shimmed properly, there is absolutely no movement of the handguard. With all aluminum construction, this is a very good value and looks great."
"Fit with a bit of modification to the rifle. The under fold BARELY locks into place. Other than that, it looks awesome and definitely makes the rifle look more intimidating. Great purchase for my Yugo"
"Install took about 5 mins. The only hard part was removing the guard for the gas tube-recommend removing with a vice grip or wrench. Having rubber covers for the rails was a bonus. A FANTASTIC piece CTD!!"
"Wow this handguard is really simple to put on. I didn't have to use any of the shims that came with this kit for the installation, and it still fits really snug. I really like the looks of this handguard as well as the comfort over the plastic foregrips. The grenade sights fit securely and are out of the way, but can still be used if needed too. The only reasons why i'm not giving this 5 bullets is because as with the other reviews the stock does not lock in place under the handguards (not really a problem); and you can't take your gas tube off the gun with this on either. Otherwise this set is great and will make your yugo look pretty mean as it is comfortable. Thanks CTD!"

"It does its job. Works great, good fit, a little tough to put on but looks mean!"
"I purchased this for my M70AB2 after reading the reviews. Some people say that the underfolder does not snap into place. It is a perfect fit for me. The hardest thing to do was to remove the gas tube. Easy instructions were in the box."

"I ordered this for my Yugo M70 AB2. When I recieved this item I was expecting some difficulty, but it came with great instructions. It slapped on with little trouble, but you can't lock the stock at folded. But, I dont see a problem with that. So, overall, it's a great quad rail for the price."
– 2nd amendment or bust
"Fits my M70AB2T with slight modification, had to grind down the launcher sight a tiny bit at the tip so it would fold down flush, did not need any of the supplied spacers, rock solid once mounted, the lock down screws worked a little loose after about 500 rounds, a little Loctite will fix that. Gun cools off a lot quicker with these guards. Good rails at a good price."
"This is a great unit for the price. I was looking for a single rail unit and found this. I got a quad for the same price as the single I was looking at on another site. It almost fit my Yugo M70AB2 like a glove. I didn't really need it, but I used 1 spacer just to make things tighter. The face that is came with enough rubber/plastic guards to cover all 4 rails was a plus! Feels solid as a rock, and my red-dot mounted perfectly. Things to know: 1) My under-folding stock will not lock in position under the weapon. No biggie for me since I never folded it anyway. 2) Getting the gas tube out of the upper hand guard was a bit of an issue. Mine was in there very firmly (it had never been removed. Since I didn't want to damage the original guards, I took my time. A pair of channel-locks and a strap-wrench worked perfectly and left no damage. Great value for the money."
"I've had this for a while now, and I can say it is what it is, it works and has not broken yet, it is slightly heavy but you don't notice it that much. It gets hot after about 200 rds continus fire, and on my yugo the folding stock won't lock into place, which is awesome. I like that it stays folded and now I dont have to push a button and move the sling out the way to unfold it i just pull the stock out, I mounted a foregrip and it is awsome for follow up shots and for when the rails get hot."
"They fit just right on my Yugo, but they get hot and make the front end heavy. A forgrip will help with the heat and it a must have. The stock won't lock closed but I'd rather have it that way because it is easier and quicker to get out when a sling is attached."
"I bought this for my Romanian AK fits perfectly and looks awesome! No gunsmithing, or altering of any kind."

"Purchased this all aluminum must have for my M70 variant. and I have NO complaints or issues, installed flawlessly."
"I installed this on my M70AB2 underfolder AK. It went on with no problems until I decided to close the underfolder. It wouldn't snap into place *as other reviewers mentioned*. I decided to use a dremel and start shaving metal until it fit. I had to shave the arms of the underfolder right where they hit the lower rail on this handguard. I could have shaved the rail itself but then I would have had shiny silver metal showing on a black rail. I decided to shave the underfolder itself to make it fit. After about 2 hours of shaving a little off here and there I finally got it to work. I have to slam it shut for it to lock in place but I was TIRED of using the dremel. So 4 bullets because of the amount of work it took to have the gun functioning properly. If UTG would have made this handguard missing the last two notches on the bottom rail it would have fit perfect the first time with no problems. This would have made it more compatible with the M70 underfolder along with other M70 variants. All-in-all I am happy with my purchase. I think I breathed in too much metal dust last night. Other than that we are good."
"Good product. Fit tightly to begin with. The shims werent needed."
