"Its all good as far as folding, but when it is fully extended, it is longer than the normal wooden butt-stock. It makes the weapon lighter but at the sacrifice of solidarity. I feel like I'm going to break it."

"This thing is a piece of junk. It is difficult to master folding and unfolding. It doesn't feel solid at all when extended, and sticks when folded (and trying to extend it). The screws that come with it are tiny (1/3 of the length and 1/2 the width of the factory originals). It's got a plastic for the hinge, and that's most of the problem. It just feels flimsy, and I wouldn't put one on my AK if they gave me a new one."

"I don't know what others got but mine fits solid and locks and unlocks easily. I've locked it open and tried to flex it and I can hardly notice any flex in the stock, granted I've not tried to beat down a wall with it but it seems plenty rigid to handle most activities. I'm tall 6'4 and it is definitely a greater length of pull than the original butt stock, which is a plus to me."

"Needs to be a bit tougher! Fit is good with my Century Arms AK74, install was easy but I used the original screws from the fixed stock... the screws that came with it are too small. I've field tested this thing many times and it hasn't broken. I've fired about 500 round through the gun with the stock on... I've thrown my AK down about a dozen times and the stock holds firm! It does have a bit of play if I pull on it though... and the hinge & locking mechanism needs to be metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAPCO.... use metal!!!!!!!!!"
