"When I first got this sight the minute I tried to adjust the elevation at the range, the elevation adjusting bolt snapped in half with about 1 1/2 turn! I thought that maybe it was just a defected part and not a bad product so I exchanged it for another one. When I got the second one right after the first shot I fired at the range the hologram sight turned right off. I had to turn it back on. I fired a second shot, and the same thing happened, but this time it wouldn't turn back on until about 5 minutes later. This continued for the next 45 minutes until I gave up on it. I want to mention that this sight claims it's designed for high powered rifles, and I was using a 223, and 9mm carbine, and with both calibers it shut off after every shot. I've had $40 BSA red dot sights which blew this $140.00 one away, this is the worst holographic sight I\uFFFDve ever encountered, please save your money, and don't waste your time."

"I was completely excited to use this on my AK-47. I was using a laser bore sight to get it close befroe hitting the range. Snapped the adjusting screw. I called Aimshot, and they actually replaced the screw free of charge and very quickly 9good customer service!). When I got it back I tried to get it adjusted and couldn't get it even close to the boresight. I'm going to work on this, but I couldn't get it any where close to sighting at 25 yards. I may try to turn it around...but I'm not optimistic. I'm pretty sure I experienced the sudden turn off as well. I thought the batteries died. I'm going to give this thing one more try, and if it works I'll re-review. Otherwise - don't."

"In late 2005 I was hired in Texas to sell aim shot products at local gun shows. I was exited to be \"in the industry\" that fed my hobby. I noticed that the rate of failure on items was higher than I cared for, and was surprised to learn that many of aim shot's items are Taiwanese or Russian. (Russian night vision is known to harm your eyes and is not legal for sale in the u s.) So, as a former Marine, the word INTEGRITY quickly enveloped my sense of right and wrong. Basically, aim shot items are cheap imported products and the sales people are led to believe that they are selling mid quality equipment at higher pricing. Not everything was \"junk\" in my opinion. But definatly, BUYER BEWARE. Just one Man's opinion."

"I have to agree with the other reviewers...this thing is junk. I also broke the \"elevation\" screw right in half trying to adjust the sight. I could never get it to adjust down far enough on my FN shotgun; hence the broken screw. I tried contacting their customer disservice and they never responded. I also had issues with the fact that changing reticles would throw zero off. Avoid this sight...it is junk."

"I mounted this on a Rock River 6.8 (flat-top mounting). This sight mounts easily enough and loading batteries was simple. The reticle is clear (and it's nice to have several to choose from). You can also adjust the brightness of the reticle. All of this is excellent. Then I attempted to sight this in. And this is where this item fails - big time. At 25 yards, I couldn't even hit the paper. I can do that with iron sights but this thing was nowhere near close. I tried everything - including height adjustments but nothing worked. So, after looking at this closely, my friend and I discovered why so many shooters have issues with this sight: the pivot hinge allows the top to move freely...so any recoil will throw this off (even the minimal recoil produced by a 6.8). It will also lose it's zero simply by changing reticles. This is the worst red dot on the market....you can find better for 1/3 the price."

"The tension spring broke on it while I was attempting to sight it in with the crappy boresighter they make. DO NOT buy one of these unless you want to throw your money in the toilet. They don't work badly, because they work at all."

"I bought this along with the 223 20x boresight and i couldn't be happier.. The brightness adjustment on the Sight is great for different lighting conditions and the adjustment was very easy. Originally when i purchased the sight i over tightened the elevation screw and busted it. I sent the unit in and aimshot replaced it for me no problem, no hassle. When i got it back I used the boresight to sight it in at 30 yards and i was maybe a half inch off on all shots, which is great considering sighting it in using the boresight took me zero ammunition and 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend this product."

"TERRIBLE! Do not waste your money. This thing must be made for paintball guns because after the first shot it bounces out of place, and I was only using it on a .22 rifle. This was $130 bucks down the drain."
