"I was really excited to use this item, and at first it seemed like it was going to be the easiest bore-sighting I ever did. Then, the stupid thing went dim on me in like 5 minutes. Needless to say I wasn't able to make all my adjustments in time.I don't know if the batteries went dead (five min life?) or if the unit is just defective because when I took it out and re-installed the batteries it started flickering and then went dim again.I am going to return it, but I don't know if I will get a replacement or try a different model. Anyone else had a similar experience?"

"I had purchased a similar product from SSI. Same thing happened to me with the batteries being installed right after I received it and the laser dimmed then flickered after reinstalling the batteries. I've returned the product and still looking for one that would work . Thanks."

"I've had this for about 2 years and at first I thought it was a piece of junk. When I first used it it would flicker and fade out. After toying with it I found that the 3 batteries that came with it were just not powerful enough to keep it going through all the adjusting. I found that using 2 LR754 batts was plenty of power. I have only changed them once in the past year and sighted in 4 rifles with it."

"This thing just simply does not work well.I got this to use with my AR-15. Sounded like it would save time. When I first put the batteries in to test it it was a pain in the keester just to keep the thing lit. Once I did I'd get a really large circle instead of a dot at about 25 feet. Yes feet, not even yards. So basically I could take my scope and try to put my optics dot in the middle of the circle rather than on a tiny laser dot as advertised.I got a bunch of new batteries thinking that would be it. Finding the correct batteries was a challenge but once I got them I still had the same problems.I've seen little toys about the same size for entertaining (pestering) pets for $5.00 that have more power and precision than this junk.Great idea, Poor Product."

"Like other AimShot products iv'e used this one is also garbage. You will find yourself constantly shaking your gun to get the laser to turn on. Having a more powerful battery will also not help you when the laser is not even picking up the energy from battery at all."
