"THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST STUFF OUT THERE,YOU WILL HAVE MISFEEDS AND NUMEROUS JAMS WITHIN FOURTY ROUNDS.. MY H&K P-7 PSP IS A VERY DEPENDABLE WEAPON AND IS MY PRIMARY CARRY, I WAS VERY SHOCKED WHEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED,ONE LOOK INSIDE OF THE SLIDE AND THERE WAS THE ANSWER,THE RAMP AND CHAMBER WERE SO LOADED UP WITH A THICK LAYER OF CRAP,THE ROUNDS WERE DIGGING IN AND FAILING TO CHAMBER.. THE GUN AND MAG HAD TO BE BROKEN DOWN BEYOND NORMAL CLEANING AND THE PARTS HAD TO BE SOAKED THEN WIRE BRUSHED TO REMOVE THE DIRT AND CRUD.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND.."

"This ammo is great, it performed well above average and didn't have any stoppages, misfeeding, or duds. Anybody experiencing problems with factory ammo should check their own skills first and then their weapon. I've fired qualification courses in the military with weapons malfunctions almost every other shot and still scored expert with the stoppages being a problem with either a dirty weapon or worn parts. I bought a full case of Independence Ammo and would buy more, Thank you Independence."

"As a NRA Certified Instructor & State of Florida Licensed \"K\" (Armed Guard Trainer) license holder, I have had no problems with this ammo. The only occassion for a misfire was my student \"limp wristing\" their pistol, causing a stovepipe. Granted there is a little extra \"GSR\" but overall, I find this is a great value & \"practice\" ammo. I recommend only carrying some sort of personal defense ammo for personal or professional purposes. The weight & grain to match what you practice with.Tenn Shott"

"I bought 3 boxes of this ammo and no problems at all in my Ruger P-89. Shot right where I aimed every time! I will definately buy more. Great value!!!"

"I shot 200 rounds of this ammo. It does not feed well in my Glock 17. It jams in just about every clip. I will not buy anymore of this ammo. I will stick to a better brand.Jam"

"I broke in my new Beretta 92FS on this ammo and was very disappointed. In fact, I thought my Beretta was a lemon. It jammed after almost every round. The best I could fire was three consecutive rounds before a jam. Stove pipes, misfeeds, casings failing to eject...ARG! I tried some UMC ammo, and it fed like a charm! On another occasion I tried shooting the Independence ammo through my Glock 19. Same thing: jam, jam, jam. Then I tried the UMC; surprise, no problems. Not sure what the difference is between the two brands, but I won't purchase any more Independence. Oh yeah, this stuff hurts! I've never felt so burning powder blown back in my face; wear eye protection with this stuff! Sorry Independence, that was my experience with 250 rounds of your product; never again."

"i fired a 50 round box of this stuff through my glock 19. it seems less dirty and kicks less than winchester white box. it also functioned perfectly in my glock. i'm not understanding these other reviews saying it doesn't work in glocks, worked fine in mine!"

"After reading the reviews listed above I was a little uneasy ordering 1000 rds of this stuff. Some reviews say it sux and others say its good. I fired this ammo out of my Bushmaster Carbon 15, Beretta, Eagle, Glocks, SWs and even sub-compacts and never once even had a dud or jam. Anyone who cries about this ammo not working with a Berretta doesnt' have a clue how to fire one correctly. It also works great for compact assault rifles. I'm already through 800 rds and logged on to order 2000 more. Buy this ammo."

"i bought this ammo because it was an inexpensive sub for what i usually use..i prefer winchester win clean 147g. however i ordered the price efficient one instead and all i really noticed is that my glock is a little dirtier. i am going to order another 500 rounds and put them through my ruger pc9 and see how it does. I personally rate this ammo a 4 mainly for reliability and accuracy a little cleaner would get it a 5"

"I bought 100 rds. to try out I didn't have any problems. I shoot about 80 rds at one session normal and rapid fire in my Beretta 92F I would buy this ammo again."

"This is the ammo the range I go to has as their range ammo. If you rent a gun there this is what you have to buy to shoot with. I fired 50 rounds out of the range's Glock 19 without a hiccup. The guy behind the counter said this is what they've been using for awhile now and they have no reason to switch to anything else. He says he rarely sees malfunctions with this ammo, in any caliber. So if those guys recommend it, I will too."

"Great ammo for practice at the range. Fed everytime into my S&W sigma 9ve. Wish i was more accurate than the ammo."

"This is the worst stuff I've ever shot. It is dirty beyond belief, and for the first time ever, EVER, in the 10 years that I've owned my Beretta 92, it malfunctioned with this stuff. Some of the rounds aren't even powerful enough to cycle the slide completely. Absolutely horrible stuff. Only reason it gets one bullet is because zero isn't an option. Federal should be ashamed to sell this crud at any price!"

"This Independence 9mm FMJ is OK for practice fodder. I can feel the difference in power between it and the Winchester 'White Box' 9mm as it kicks MUCH less. I think I'd like the Winchester in a HP. It did not fail to feed (200 rounds of it) in my SR9 at all. It kicked similar to the 124 Speer FMJ ammo I had although I would think the Speer Lawman is better stuff."

"I Use this ammo all the time. My local range stocks it as their primary range brand (for 9mm at least). I have Fired 250 rounds through my Glock 19 without issue. Not to dirty and not much kick. I Just wished it was in stock here more often."

"I shot this through my Glock and it seems to be as good as anything else.. Good price a little more punch than the Remington UMC."

"Accurate enough out to 20 yards, but not for competition or tactical training. Very dirty burn, and one FTE out of 100."
