"I recently purchased these and was very disappointed in the quality. I could see at night almost as well without these as I could with them. The black and white screen needs to be very bright to see anything in them and totally destroys your night vision in the eye used to look through it. The IR stays on and is good only for very short range. The long distance IR spot is so bright that it washes out the picture unless you turn the brightness down and then you will have to bring the brightness back up when you shut off the Spot so you could focus again. I would not recommend these to anyone."
