"Had a few casings bent out of shape (can be expected with reloaded brass), but didn't slow down the Bushmaster. Had 1 out of 360 jam (remedied by a quick tap on the forward assist), otherwise no complaints. No misfires and relatively clean. This ammo gets my full recommendation."

"Had several rounds that were bent over where the bullet was 10-15 degrees out of concentricity. Some of the rounds were dented to a point that I am not comfortable in shooting them even though they seem cycle through my rifle. I will wait for better quality ammo as it comes available this year."

"The bullets cycle through my Stag Arms 2T like a champ. No misfires out of the first 270 rounds, and no extraction problems. Excellent price for the reliability. Wolf ammunition was getting stuck in this gun after 40 rounds. I did a rapid fire stress test of 90 rounds, then 90 more, and I never had a problem. I have not found any bent or dented cases like the previous reviewer."

"This ammo isn't the most accurate, and there are a few bullets with bent casings, but it will all cycle and it all fired for me. This is the cheapest bulk ammo I will buy. I'm not going to shoot Wolf through my DPMS, and this is good for what it is. The 1 star review was undeserved, this is good plinking ammo."

"This is a big box of fun. Not high grade ammo but I haven't had any big issues. I have only a mag and a half left to shoot and I had to use my forward assist once to seat the round. My M&P15 gobbles these up quick."

"Put 500 rounds through my new 11.5 AR SBR. Not one jam, not one misfire. Punched a hole in my 25m zero target. Time to buy some more."

"This is the best cheap bulk ammo that I've ever gone through. I bought 500 rounds to break in my newest Bushmaster, and I didn't have a single failure or misfeed. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend this to a friend. I've got to give a good review for CTD as well, I ordered on a Monday morning and everything was waiting at home for me when I got off on Wednesday. Great service!"

"Nice ammo. Arrived very fast. Very clean. All ammo in great shape. Shoots nice, bullets expand very nice. Not a lot of fragmentation even at fairly close range, but nice expansion and great penetration. Killer ammo at a great price. Buy it up!"

"Got this in very fast. Ordered on a Monday.... a holiday... and received order on Wed. I give this a 3 bullet rating so far because I have not shot any yet. It looks good, no problems that I can see with the quality of how its made. I loaded 1000 rounds onto stripper clips and looked it over as I loaded, no dents or damage to casings. If it shoots as good as it looks, it will be my new target ammo. At these prices I plan to stock up on it once I know its going to shoot for me as described in earlier reviews by others. I have always been hesitant to buy reloads, and bulk amo, but I took the chance with this after my boss at work (police department) said he loves it for target/practice ammo and so far I am impressed. Oh.... one box contained 498 rounds but the other contained 501 rounds.... so I was 1 round short... oh well guess that's a risk with buying bulk and if I had not been loading stripper clips I probably would have never noticed."

"Well I got to the range today to shoot my M-4. My Bushmaster loves this ammo. It shot great and held a nice group.... 25 rounds that could just about be coverd by a quarter at 50 yards. This ammo never jammed or failed to fire, no problems at all. It is very accurate for the price and is my new training ammo. FYI the 40 s/w 180gr hollow point shot just as good from this company and I will be stocking up on both calibers as soon as I'm able."

"I bought a box of 500 to try 'em out. I went through half on the first day at range with no problems. I was so impressed I saved some for a rainy day and have been waiting for them to be in stock since. Highly recommend."

"Great ammo, cheap price and the fact it is PSP is a plus, at least you get something that will have some killing power, will buy more when it is back it stock."

"Bought 500 and ran 150 through a brand new rock river with 18 inch bull, also ran 60rds of Rem UMC and the BVAC was actually a little more accurate. Ammo was fairly clean as well. Very happy with this ammo and will buy multiples next time if available."

"Put about 100 rounds down range and absolutely zero problems. Upon inspection did not see any issues with any of the brass, before or after firing. Will be buying more from BVAC."

"Been shooting tight groups out of my Colt AR-15 HBAR, no issues, no misses, clean, all high quality. Best buy out there for the quality."

"Bought these in mid Aug of 2010. The brass was all LC brass but the bullets looked like something hand made. The lead soft point ranged from being cut off at the jacket to running down the side of the bullet (wish I could send a picture!). Basically I wanted some cheap ammo for plinking with my new Savage 16. Unfortunately, I had to undergo back surgery prior to shooting any and then came the WI winter. In April of 2011 I finally got out to the range to try them out. About 150 of them went \"bang\" with no feed or misfire problems but the accuracy left a lot to be desired. About round 150 I got a \"big BANG\" with gas blown back in my face. The bolt was jammed and the gun had to be taken to a gunsmith for repair. The primer and rear of the case had blown out and took the extractor with it. Even after all this, I'm still not afraid to use the ammo, the problem is with BVAC. When I contacted them to see if they'd help with my repair expense (a whopping $53.00) they said they probably couldn't as I didn't have the original cardboard shipping box but they'd get back to me. Needless to say, I've never heard from them again!!! The Ammo might not be bad for the price but the company making it doesn't give a D _ _ _ about you. Buyer Beware! UPDATE on 12-15-12: I must apologize for the bad write up I gave BVAC in my review of 05-06-2011. After both back surgery and bypass surgery, I finally followed up on my problem with the bad round. The person I initially talked to, no longer worked for the company and had never passed on my complaint. After sending the blown case and repair bill to BVAC, they were most concerned and helpful. They both sent me a check for the repair to my rifle and two boxes of new 55gr SP ammo, which I shot yesterday and grouped 3/4\" @ 100 yards. Now I feel that BVAC is great and the ammo is good, too!!"

"This great stuff. I bought a new Stag Arms Model 8 and I had 500 rounds of this waiting on the gun when it arrived by mail to my FFL holder. The day I got the Rifle, I ran 250 rounds through the Stag without a single hickup. The next day, I ran the remaining 250 rounds through the gun. I didn't clean or lube the gun at all, and again, flawless perfomance. I am impressed and I'm going to buy as much of this as they let me order. Thanks CTD for another awesome product and fast shipping!!!"

"Put three rounds through a quarter at 100 yards with my r15 22\" barrel 1/9 twist. Consistently shoots sub moa groups. Would buy again if it is ever in stock."

"I brought a box of this goodness to an outdoor range with 1000-Yd lanes. As a mid-skilled shooter with my CMMG LEPII Gas-Piston AR-15 and Acog 4x32 - I shot 98% in 6\" target at 100-Yd, 95-98% in chest-sized target at 300-Yd and 45% on 3'x3' paper at 565-Yd. Zero cycling/feed issues and a ton-of-fun to shoot! I've tried 100s of Remington factory loads, Golden Bear, Silver Bear and other 'cheap loads' but have never found an ammo like this! I'm stocking up a few more boxes, as this is the best value 223 ammo out there! Good shooting!"

"Having shot everything from wolf to hornady tap, I can say that even the BVAC reloads are the best bang for the buck. 1500 rounds from a S&W M&P with no malfunctions. They are dirty in the loose pack box, but they are accurate and dependable."

"Bought a thousand rounds of this for my S&W M&P 15. I was having problems with cheaper Russian ammo. I do a lot of shooting around the Vegas area and after firing several rounds in the summer heat the Russian rounds would fail to extract. I put five hundred rounds of BVAC through the gun and didn't have a single problem. Temp was mid 90's and barrel was smoking but not a single problem. Good grouping and reliable ammo. Get some before I get the rest of it."

"I've shot about 350 rounds through a new S&W M&P15T. It feeds, shoots and cycles well. No problems. But its kind of dirty."
