The U.S. Military has begun destroying ammo cans making them very scarce. We have found a lot of original cans that have foam lining that the military used for storing Night Vison devices. The foam can be removed if not needed. These cans still have years of use and are great for storage. Used cans in excellent condition. Non-returnable.

Padded .50 Caliber Ammo Can Original U.S. medium .50 caliber ammo can is completely lined inside with " closed cell foam; originally used to transport AN/PVS-14, night vision monocular. "Just purchased 2 of these, excellent condition, the foam lining is high quality. Great for storing anything you want dry and protected. Mine stores a Colt 1911, magazines and ammo; should Bubba have to leave the house in a hurry:)"

"I got two of these cans. They do show wear, a few small dents, not much for rust, and some small scratches and blemishes. But inside is like a brand new can! The foam is surprisingly thick and perfectly clean! The inside of the cans smell brand new. The foam is a good density and is totally secure to the walls, bottom, and top of the cans. I bought these for ammo storage, but now I feel guilty using them for only ammo. I wish I had some more expensive equipment to put in them. They would also be great to use as a lock box for a pistol or any other equipment you dont want rattling around loosely. You can give the exterior a good soapy wipe down, but leave the inside alone~!"
