Trijicon ACOG Army Rifle 4x32 Scope TA31RCO-M150CP Rifle Combat Optic (RCO) with Red Dual Illuminated Reticle This model is the exact item issued to the U.S. Army, including all accessories and the case. Includes mounts for carry handle or flattop mounting. Advanced Combat Optical Gunsights (ACOG) are internally-adjustable, compact telescopic sights with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. ACOG models feature bright daytime reticles, using fiber optics that collects ambient light. The ACOGs combine traditional, precise distance marksmanship with close-in aiming speed. The ACOGs have many features which are very advantageous for military use, and designed for use with M16 rifles. Every feature of its mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose: To provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions -- without failure-prone batteries. Each ACOG is complete with a factory attached flattop mount and lifetime warranty, contact Trijicon for warranty information. The TA31RCO-M150CP (Civilian Package) also includes:
ACOG 4x32 Scope with Red Chevron BAC Flattop Reticle- includes Flat Top Adapter. The chevron reticle is designed to be zeroed using the tip at 100 meters. The width of the chevron at the base is 5.53 MOA which is 19 in. at 300 meters. This allows range estimation for silhouette targets. Features dual illumination (Fiber optics provides daylight illumination and tritium illuminates reticle at night). The ranging reticle is calibrated for 5.56(.223 cal) flattop rifles out to 800 meters.

"these are pretty much what we use in the marine corps and i have never seen one break. and i just shot on the rifle range with it and got expert. i got 9 out of 10 kills on the b mod tgt at the 5."

"I have owned one of these for about 6 months now. I have an AR-15 with a competiton stainless barrel with a 1-8 twist. Though using the chevron style reticle I consistantly produce nickel size groups at 150 yards. The optics are supurb, you will need to practice your sight picture as it is quite different than a duplex reticle but you can fix a target quickly with a little practice. They are pricey scopes but a competion AR is not cheap as well. A good barrel, bullet and optics will keep you going out to the range to have fun. Coyotes, prarie dogs and 10 rings beware. You will not be dissipointed in this pricey scope. Happy shooting!"

"Although these are pretty much the same thing used by the US Marine Corps (and what I had on my M16A4 for my first deployment and M4 on my second deployment) In the Marine Corps you will NEVER use this to qualify on the rifle range. The Corps uses the Iron sights for M16s/M4s while qualifing. These things are great otherwise."
