"Rate: 5 -- I sent this review to you in comments also, but this one is slightly revisedThe Romance of the 30 CarbineFortune CookieMy Plainfield 30 carbine has been stored in the frame of my gun safe behind the locking cutouts \uFFFD out of sight and out of mind. With the reasonable pricing of BVAC ammo, I ordered the 110 grain JSP loads. The ammo arrived without delay, and it was beautiful stuff. It was time. When I took the Plainfield out, it was as if seeing an old girlfriend again after 25 years. She was still as slim and sexy as when I last saw her, and I recalled her true and reliable quality. She was smooth and sleek, and I put my arm around her. We headed off to the range to do some dancing. It was a busy dance floor, and I set up some 8 \uFFFD x 14\uFFFD white paper IPSC outlines at 25 yards. We became stars that day as she lit up the top of the A zones with tight offhand clusters. Her ease and grace were plain to everyone. But she was hot as well, tossing her brass all over the range flirting with the other shooters while making it obvious to all that she was with me. Every time I led, she followed \uFFFD every single time without fail. And she did not mind just a bit of rough treatment. She kicked, but she did not punish. And in her lovely way, she told me that she was my lifelong and formidable friend. I made up my mind that I\uFFFDm going to keep her warm and take care of her for the next 25 years. It\uFFFDs the great inexpensive ammo that brought us together. And I\uFFFDm going to place another order with CTD for more ASAP. The ammo is actually priceless."

"I used this ammo in a Winchester M1 carbine, functioned flawless, shot to point of sites, and is accurate (1 inch groups @ 50 yds 5 shot group). I shot 2 deer this season with it, each about 50 yards, and both one shot kills (heart and lungs shots).I will buy more of this for hunting Purposes."

"The BVAC 110 grain JSP 30 carbine ammo looked great. The brass was new and uniform. Unlike some other BVAC reviews, all the primers were perfect and well seated, and the bullets had just the right amount of soft lead exposed. But the attractive price and good looking ammo are worthless unless the ammo does what we need - off to the range to do some testing. Shooting offhand at the 25 yard bullseye through my chronograph screens, I was not trying to shoot my carbine for groups. However, I was pleased to see through my binoculars that the 10 shots made a nicely centered pattern only 1 1/2 inches across with most of the shots in the x-ring. I was even more pleased when I checked the chronograph review to find that the 10 round average MV was 2048 fps with extreme spread of 60 fps (2023 fps - 2083 fps). That average beats the advertised MV by 160 fps!! My quick carbine is going to stay in condition 3 at all times ready for my home defense because that kind of performance sure beats any fighting handgun in my hands. I'm going to order more."

"I ordered 250 rounds to use in my new Auto Ordanance M1. I only shot 60 rounds so far, but no problems except when I opened the second box, there was one cartridge missing! Oops! All other boxes were full. Nobody's perfect and at least the're made in the USA."

"This ammo works just fine in my carbine but then I tried some TULA ammo and IMO it sucks back. I had fired 60-80 rounds of this BRV with little problems. On the third round of TULA I had a stovepipe and my extractor was torn apart. The rest of my TULA was thrown into the woods. Beware commie ammo is for commie guns."

"After reading several reviews of BVAC ammo being shoddy, I inspected the entire 100rds I purchased closely. All primers were seated properly, projectiles all seated at the same depth, new brass with no imperfections. Fed perfectly in my commercial carbines as well as my Winchesters and Rock-Ola's. The projectile is well designed. The exposed lead tip does not get damaged when chambering which likely results in the fine accuracy others also noticed."

"Costs less than any other expanding .30 carbine ammo that I can find. Fires fine in my Universal Carbine."

"I bought a box of this because SP ammo for the .30 carbine is hard to find. I ran a full box through my M1 carbine and only had one failure to feed, which was probably due to a bad magazine. I bought two more boxes and will probably buy more once I've eliminated the magazine from the equation and verified that there are no problems with the ammo. Given the rarity of SP ammo, the BVAC product is a great find, especially with the low price. I have not seen any irregularities with the ammo as others have reported. Definitely recommended."
