Featherlight Series Bird and Trout Folding Knife -
Light in weight but no lightweight in performance, this Knives Of Alaska (KOA) Featherlight Bird and Trout Knife makes field dressing birds and trout sized fish effortless. With a Wharncliffe straight edge blade, the Knives Of Alaska (KOA) Featherlight Bird and Trout Knife gives you precision cutting ability. Sharp and to the point, this Knives Of Alaska (KOA) Featherlight Bird and Trout Knife is a cut above the rest.
Wharncliffe Blade -
A Wharncliffe blade is similar in profile to a sheep's foot but the curve of the back edge starts closer to the handle and is more gradual. Its blade is much thicker than a knife of comparable size. It is similar to the Saxon and Viking Seax.
Material is an air hardened tool steel, which offers good corrosion resistance and excellent mileage in wear resistance. This is a good choice for hard use applications.
G10 Handle -
Apoxy filled woven glass fiber; it is extremely stable, unaffected by temperature changes, and can be decoratively tinted, ground, and polished. G-10 makes excellent handles and handle scales for knives.
