KA-Bar Hunter Knife -
Knife is dressy enough to give as a gift and practical for field use. Features a stacked leather handle with finger grips.

Clip Blade -
The clip blade is a classic shape and very practical. Its name describes a shape that seems to have a portion of the spine of the blade clipped off. This brings the blade point lower for extra control and enhances the sharpness of the tip. It provides ample "belly" in the blade for slicing or skinning and a good tip for inserting in and under things that need to be cut. You will often find a false edge with the clip point.

AUS 8 -
Japanese stainless steel, roughly compared to 440B.

Lockback -
Folding knife that has a lock release on the back of the handle.

Zytel -
A glass filled nylon material used in making handles for knives. DuPont trademark.

"This is a great knife, one that I carry every day. Thumb stud and clip are both reversible. I like the clip point a little better than the other blade designs, of which there are several to chose from. Quality is very good and seems better than you would expect at this price point."

"I have a sackfull of pocket knifes I give away to friends. Collected them trying to find a knife rugged enough, large enough, safe enough, with the right shape blade and handle that can do just about any task asked of it. Keeps an edge well enough that I don't carry my sharpener in the truck with me now. The blade is flexible enough to do things one shouldn't do with knives and it hasn't snapped yet. Lost it once and looked for three days and couldn't find it. Store I found it in no longer carried it. Ordered on-line and got two more just in case. Found the one I lost in the gutter of the house, where I had left it, the next spring. survived the winter and after a soapy bath, looked good as new. Still carrying it. I Like the locking mechanism. Liner locks will snap shut on you if you stress them the wrong way. This one won't. And it's in-expensive. Couldn't afford a custom Dozier. Can appreciate the design with this knife. Even use it at the steakhouse rather than the crap called steak knives. Love it."
