Junkyard Dog Knife -
The new made in the USA Junkyard Dog features stainless-steel construction for heavy-duty performance. The blade is Sandvik 13C26, a stainless chromium steel, that provides high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. The handle of the JYD I is 410 stainless steel for impact strength and corrosion resistance. The JYD II has lighter weight G-10 scales attached to a sturdy steel frame. A new one-handed, index-finger opening system first builds up pressure and then pops the blade up out of the handle for easy deployment by either left- and right-handed knife users. A locking liner secures the blade in place, while a removable pocket clip keeps the JYD close at hand.

Sandvik 13C26 -
Made of martensitic stainless chromium steel. After heat treatment the steel grade is characterized by high hardness, good corrosion resistance, and very good wear resistance. It is used mainly for razor blades, but is also the standard grade for surgical knives and for different types of industrial knives for the food industry.

G-10 Handle -
Apoxy filled woven glass fiber; it is extremely stable, unaffected by temperature changes, and can be decoratively tinted, ground, and polished. G-10 makes exce llent handles and handle scales for knives.

Frame Lock -
Also known as the Integral Lock or Monolock. The Frame Lock is a locking mechanism invented by custom knife maker Chris Reeve for the Sebenzas an update to the liner lock. The Frame Lock works in a manner similar to the liner lock but uses a partial cutout of the actual knife handle, rather than a separate liner inside the handle to hold the blade in place.

Removable Pocket Clip -
This feature allows for tip up or tip down carry, or the clip can be removed completely.
