Black Vapor -
The Vapor series offers a unique "drilled" industrial design combined with butter smooth, one handed, manual opening. The open handle is built of heat treated, high strength 410 steel while the drilled design enhances the knife's airy look and feel. The blade is made of premium AUS 6A stainless steel. For extra strength, the blade is flat ground to Kershaw's famous, "shaving sharp" edge. The blade opens manually as the user pushes on the thumb stud and rotates the blade into position. A frame lock holds it securely in position. Choose from two sizes and two finishes with straight or partially serrated blades.

410 Stainless Steel -
Grade 410 is the basic martensitic stainless steel; like most non stainless steels it can be hardened by a "quench and temper" heat treatment. It contains a minimum of 11.5 per cent chromium. It achieves maximum corrosion resistance when it has been hardened and tempered and then polished. Grade 410 is a general purpose grade often supplied in the hardened, but still machinable condition, for applications where high strength and moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required.

Titanium Nitride -
Extremely hard ceramic material, often used as a coating on titanium alloys, steel, carbide, and aluminum components to improve the substrate's surface propert ies.

Frame Lock -
Also known as the Integral Lock or Monolock. The Frame Lock is a locking mechanism invented by custom knife maker Chris Reeve for the Sebenzas an update to the liner lock. The Frame Lock works in a manner similar to the liner lock but uses a partial cutout of the actual knife handle, rather than a separate liner inside the handle to hold the blade in place.

Flat Ground -
A grind the tapers from the top of the blade down to the cutting edge. Also known as a "V" grind.
