Reality Based Recurve Folding Knife -
The design of the recurve blade makes everyday cutting chores a breeze. Both sides of the 440C stainless steel blade are flat ground, for easy re sharpening. The blade is black coated, which provides added corrosion resistance. Overall length: 9". Blade length: 3 7/8". Weight: 6.2 ounces.
Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.
440C Stainless Steel -
This type of steel is a high chromium stainless steel with a terrific balance of good hardness and corrosion resistance. 440C takes a nice edge and is fairly easy to re sharpen. An excellent value priced steel for its performance.
Lanyard Hole -
This is a hole to fit a lanyard, rope or carrying implement through.
Folding knife that has a lock release on the back of the handle.
Flat groun d -
Blade is typically ground uniformly from the blade back right to the edge.
