Sportsman Series F.A.S.T Folding Knife -
This Remington Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Folding Knife is sure to be a fast favorite. The Remington Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Folding Knife has a thumb collar that aids in an immediate one handed blade discharge. The handle of the Remington Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Folding Knife is soft to the touch, feels good in the hand and gives you the command you need. While out on the hunt, on that camping trip or just slicing an apple, this Remington Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Folding Knife is a must have for the Sportsman in your life.

Clip Blade -
The clip blade is a classic shape and very practical. Its name describes a shape that seems to have a portion of the spine of the blade clipped off. This brings the blade point lower for extra control and enhances the sharpness of the tip. It provides ample "belly" in the blade for slicing or skinning and a good tip for inserting in and under things that need to be cut. You will often find a false edge with the clip point.

Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.

Lanyard Hole -
This is a hole to fit a lanyard, rope, or carrying impleme nt through.

"Bought this a little while back for a knife to carry at work (navy).it was initially a little too stiffly locked in the closed position to flick it open one handed the way one normally does, but the tabs sticking out on the base of the blade make one handed opening no problem with a little practice. now that the knife is a little worn it, it locks solid and opens easy, but not too easy. definitely recommend this purchase."

"I owned one of these for a while, and put it through some pretty strenuous work on a constuction site. Overall it's a nice knive; flips open easy, fits the hand. The only problem I had with it was that the belt clip was always coming loose. I imagine that it might just have been that specific knife though. And even if the clip does come loose, you can probly just put some loktite on it. Another nice feature btw, is that it completely dissassembles for cleaning."

"I own one of these and have for a few months. You HAVE to be careful to watch the screws holding it together. I bought mine for protection and didn't use it very often except to put it in and out of my pocket. The screws come loose and I lost one. Remington won't replace the screws for less than the knife costs. If you get one, take it apart and locktite every screw. Very sharp. Also, the black matte finish wears off VERY easily."

"This knife is a great addition to anyones pocket, nice weight to it, swift action, very cool. highly recomended. I also have the smaller one, this one dwarfs it. for the price its a great knife."

"This is a knife that you don't have to be afraid to use! Compared to some of the more expensive knives, you could order 10 of these. I was always afraid of breaking or scratching my more expensive knives. No longer. The finish does come off, but it's a working knife, not a showpiece. If it breaks, just grab another from the drawer. For the price, I don't see how you could beat this knife."

"Great Every Day Carry Knife!Very thin and light weight. After tension is adjusted, very easy to open with a flick of your finger. Went with 4 our of 5 because the great rubberized coating rubs off over time and I've had to tighten up the screws oh the handle. I've carried it daily for over a year and highly recommend it."

"For the price of this knife, there's no way you can go wrong. It was a little bigger than I expected, but that's my own fault for reading more of the previous reviews than the actual product description. Mine didn't seem to be as stiff as others have commented, but did have the handles screws start to come loose within a few days. As mentioned, a li'l Loctite snugged em right up. Very happy with this knife overall, and it came with a pretty decent edge on it too. I'm ordering another to keep in my B.O.B."
