SOG Access Card 2.0 Folding Knife -
The knife is the SOG Access Card 2.0 that features a 2.75" sheepfoot blade made of VG10 stainless steel, .080" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. The blade of this SOG knife has a satin finish, a notched thumb rest, and a long oval slot for ambidextrous one hand opening. The skeletonized stainless steel handle, 3.38" closed, has a bead blast finish, finger grooves for secure grip, and the ambidextrous Arc-Lock. A side to side reversible low carry steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this SOG knife. The SOG Access Card 2.0 knife with satin finished blade has an overall open length of 6.2", and weighs 1.8 ounces.

Sheepsfoot Blade -
A sheepsfoot blade has a straight edge and a straight dull back that curves towards the edge at the end. It gives the most control, because the dull back edge is made to be held by fingers. Sheepsfoot look like a sheep's hoof.

VG-10 Stainless Steel -
VG-10 has Carbon (C) content between 0.95-1.05, Chromium (Cr) content between 13.0-15.0, Molybdenum (Mo) content between 0.2-0.4, and contains less than 0.25 of Nickel (Ni). During forging, Mo and Cr forms hard double carbide bonds which help improve the abrasion and corrosion resistance of the steel. It has a hardness of 58-61.

Bead Blast Finish -
Can be defined as any non reflective finish applied to the metal surface by bead blasting  or sand blasting the blade with any of a variety of media. The intent is to roughen the surface for anti glare. The trade off is it tends to be more susceptible to corrosion due to the increased surface area exposed. This finish is also commonly referred to as a "military finish".

Arc-Lock -
This lock just might have the perfect lock with its totally ambidextrous design, and all attributes knife designers relentlessly search for, but rarely find. The Arc-Lock far surpasses conventional lock strength tested at over 1000 lbs of force measured at the lock in an independent lab test. It provides lightning quick, one handed opening and closing capability. Spring action securely retains the blade closed. When unlocking, the fingers are safely kept clear. The Arc Lock is self adjusting over time and can be easily cleaned for long term optimal performance.
