"I am impressed with the looks of this ammunition. The LC brass looks new and the primers and bullets are well seated. Looks like new ammo. I have not fired any yet, but hope to as soon as I receive my new LAR8. And of course, I received the quick delivery you can expect from CTD."

"Ordered Friday mid morning, recieved Saturday before noon. CTD shipping is the best by far! This ammo is an excellent value. Shoots great - 100 rounds no ftf or fte. Nice groupings at 100 yds. I'm no marksman, but I was very pleased with the accuracy. It is good quality brass for reloading makes this a nice deal."

"I just fired 170 rds out of the 250 I bought. I had 1 dud. My SOCOM 16 ate this stuff up, no problem. Good groups, great price and reliable. I will absolutely buy again."

"Good ammo. Basically a copy of the 7.62 NATO ball. Pulled one round out of curiosity (lot #028010). Cannelured 147 gr FMJ BT. Powder looks like H335. Most brass is LC05 \uFFFD LC08. Velocity averaged 2535 fps from my DPMS LR-308AP4 and groups are within 1 1/2 moa. My Rem 700VS groups 5/8 moa. Burns relatively clean. Perfect function."

"I own a Socom II. I bought this ammo and love it. Very accurate. Same ammo I use in daily training in the Marine Corps for the 240G/B. No misfires or any other problems all day at the range."

"I bought 500 rounds and just got done this weekend firing 250 rounds out of my PTR-91. I had one round misfire and that was all. This is top notch excellent bulk ammunition."

"I've fired about 200 rounds through my DPMS LR-308, and it has been great. With a scope, all my 5 shot groups were under an inch. Iron sights at 75m produced a nice group also. No problems with the ammo at all. Great stuff."

"Stop buying this ammo. You are causing a backorder situation and I need my ammo. Put 150 rnds through a DPMS 308LR and a Springfield Squad Scout. 1 miss fire. Cleaned the boltface and that 1 fired.Smokey ammo, sub moa groups at 100 yds.Normally Im very picky about ammo, only new stuff, this changes everything."

"Bummer, I got this pack for my G3 and it doesn't function after two rounds < through a bolt action rifle it functions great. I guess you win some you lose some. The G3 murders the brass big time. I'll stick to Brown and Silver Bear for the G3! Or buy more of the German/South African battle packs. Just a heads up!"

"180 rounds of this at 200 Yards and not a single problem. I shoot an LR-308B with PMAGs, and this ammo is amazing. 5 shot groups are right around 1\" (can cover them with a 1\" patch). I would still go for my 168GR HPBT if I was going to compete, but these are as sweet as it comes for bulk range ammo. Clean (very clean), nice looking, and a pleasure to shoot. TY CTD for coming thorough again. Nice price, fast shipping, another win."

"I reload and have for years. I have AR -10 and when I shoot the bullets they don't have a enough punch to cycle the AR and put another round in the chamber. I have to racked the AR every shot. Besides that they shoot ok. I used my reloads and the AR works fine. In a bolt gun they would work fine."

"The ammo shipped fast, less than 24 hrs., lightning fast. The rounds were bulk packed in a small box and were very clean, no corrosion. Shot from a bolt gun, Savage model 10, I thought the ammo would group a little better then they did. I should have got sub moa groups with my rifle/scope combo at 200 yards but they shot about 1 1/2 inches, that's why 4 bullets not 5, my gun just likes 168 gr. better. Good ammo as far as no failures in any way so far out of 100 rds. shot and, again, very clean, would buy again. Thanks CTD."

"This ammo is sweet. nice for the range. Its clean, pretty accurate (its not competition ammo, but will keep you under 1.5\" at 100 yards). For the Price, you really cant go wrong. If I could give it a few more stars i would. Get some, and you will never look back."

"This stuff fed well through my SA M1A Loaded. You should be aware that it does have a steel core so indoor ranges won't let you shoot it. Some out door ones won't let you either. I can't speak much for its accuracy since I was using iron sights and I'm not the best with those but it seemed to do really well."

"I feed this stuff to My DPMS LR 308 AP4, and it eats it up. I am using the DPMS 19rd mag and the Magpul 20rd mags. Zero FTF. Zero FTE. It is accurate, clean and inexpensive. My best find yet on CTD. Now stop buying it so I can get more."

"All I can say is that if you own a 308 Win, buy these rounds. Great quality for the price and you can't beat 250 Rounds !! ... The fact that they are always out of stock , speaks for itself. Ive gone through 3 boxes and yet to have a hiccup. Shoots great from my Remington. And if you go to the range a lot, memorize this Item #. The only negativity I have is that too many people buy them .. J/K Enjoy ....!"

"Looks to be decent ammo. However, you do find small dents and dings in the brass. These small dents are on about 50 percent of the brass. I don't feel however they will affect the ammo. If it does you will see another review!"

"This ammo came just as pictured. It was very clean, very nice ammo. I have shot a lot of ammo through my gun, and this ammo burns clean and packs a punch. No jams, and can't even tell that it was once fired! Very impressed. I will definitely buy it again!"

"First received this ammo and inspected it. And yes there was some dented cases. But I imagine it is do to the loose packing and shipping. I fired this ammo through my Rock River LAR 8 and my Savage 10 FCP-K. Every round that I fired was on target. I had no issues. And for the price. You really caint beat this deal. Even the dented rounds fired. They are after all minor dents. Once they get more I will order more. Scout's lead the way."

"Purchased a while back and just got to the range today. Fed it to my R 25, it ate it up and wanted more!! Also Springfield M1A1 with the same results. 250 rnds purchased 250 rnds down range!! No FTF,FTE,jams or any other problems. R 25 held 1 inch groups at 100 yds. M1A1 held at 1.75 inch at 100 yds. Clean up was not as bad as I expected, fairly clean shooting. That being said if you have a .308 get some of this !!! Thanks CTD!!!"

"So Ive shot about three of these packs through my DPMS LR with not much problems. I recently orderd two packs and Im not shure whats going on at BVAC but these rounds were junk. One out of five cases jammed into my chamber and the extractor ripped the lip off making a chore out of shootin. LAME BVAC quality control please. Now im sorting through each round making shure it fits the chamber. Warped brass equals a bad time at the range. Last time I order these rounds.... ever. Sucks too I really liked the bulk pack."

"I have been thru 3 boxes of this ammo my M1A .1 out of 100 jams most likely from the small dings or dents in the cases. Shot thru my 700 Rem. XCR long range I usually get 1 to 1.25in groups at 100 yds with 5 rounds. Great stuff for cheap and the cases reload jst fine."

"Used this with my DPMS LR and it ate it up. No misfeeds, no misfires, no extraction problems. Pretty decent grouping for the price, 1 inch 5 round group at 100 yards. Gonnna get more of this stuff."

"Great ammo, functions and groups well. At 200 yds with my KAC Stoner and good glass can cover 5 rounds with a quarter. In DPMS with iron sights 2 inch groups at a 100 yds, my fault not the ammos'. Will buy this anytime!"

"Shot a clip through my RRA lar8 varmit & had 4 rims ripped off making the next round to jam in. Had to push shell out after removing clip and getting live round out. Rounds that ripped were all marked LC o8 & o9. Did find 39 rounds of 3 different makes which ran fine. Guess I got 200 rounds for my Encore pistol so no big loss to me. Just my experience!"

"I use this ammo for 600yd competitions. This is incredibly consistent from the first cold-bore to the 20th round in the 30 minute time limit. I have some friends handload rounds that don't perform as well as these. Don't let the inexpensive price fool you--it's worth every penny."

"Do not buy this ammo if you have an armalite AR-10. very first round jammed so hard in the chamber that I couldnt even pull the charging handle back to eject the cartiage. Half of the rim was compeletly ripped off, leaving lots of brass Residue on the bolt face. it might be great ammo for other firearms but not the Amralite. First I thought there was somthing wrong with the ejector claw hitting to hard or somthing. I called my gunsmith but he was to busy.....i would have to wait til Tuesday. Needless to say I was to upset and worried to wait that long. so I went and bought some Winchester ammo at the local Walmart and after two rounds it fired pretty dang good. a few minor feeding problems that I believe was mag related."

"Sorry BVAC!!! please forgive me!!! Firs t I want to apologize for giving this product a low rating, second I want to apologize for saying this ammunition is no good for Armalites. It is good, its pretty damn good. I jumped to conclusions and didnt properly assess the malfunction. The problem wasnt the ammo it was the rifle! MY BRAND NEW NEVER FIRED RIFLE!!!!!! No FTF or FTE. good bargin! will buy more!"

"I am on my second box. The first one was good, blew though without a problem. This box I bought at the end of June. I have DPMS LR-308 with lots of extras. I have fired only 15 rounds though my weapon out of the 15, 4 of them were failure to extract!!! They stayed in the chamber. I seriously doubt if these rounds were fired only once. I have tried 4 different types of ammunition without problems. These new batch I have will get stuck in the chamber by me hand loading them. I'm on travel a lot I'm a weapons and tactics instructor (active duty). When I first received the ammo I got 229 rounds of 250. So I called and they told me that they would send a box of 20. And I said I paid for 250 not 249! so they gave me a $5.00 credit. I'm going to call this week about what to do about the 214 rounds that are left over more to follow........."

"I have been purchasing from CTD for years now and am very happy... Until today. Fired 20 rounds of store purchased remington ammo with no failures. Then loaded this ammo. Very first round fired with no eject... Cleared faulty brass and fired 20 more remington rounds without fail. Loaded another magazine with this ammo to find BCG stuck 3/4 forward and can't clear with charging handle. 249 rounds left in the box of pure junk. It's an expensive rifle and I certainly will not ever attempt to fire this ammo ever again. Please friends, save the money that it takes to get it to your door. It's shiny and looks amazing, but when it comes to ammo it's not worth the risk. I'd give it no bullets if it was an option."

"I agree with the other gentleman. I'd rate this a negative number, but 1 bullet is as low as it goes. Out of 5 rounds I tried to fire in 2 different guns 3 of the round stuck and would not eject and one of these rounds would not fire, so I had one case stuck in my Winchester 88(1959) and now a live round stuck in my M1a. Still had my FNAR to shoot but no way I'm putting this junk in my FN. So since this is all the AMMO I took to the range I'm done. So far no one BVAC or CtD will stand behind their product. So I'm out the money. So my suggestion is to buy a case of Federal ammo- it's about 110% better than this BVAC junk!!g. roddy"

"Unless you like stovepipes i.e. FTE do NOT buy this ammo. Yes it shows up looking perfect, but within 2 rounds I had a case jammed so tight into the chamber of my SA M1A I bent a cleaning rod trying to get it out. Polished my chamber and tried to finger feed a single round to test sizing. With just finger pressure I jammed another round. I was able to get it out with a tap but come ON. An unfired round should NOT stick into the chamber. DAG, Federal, etc. slides out just from gravity. This is some of the worst worksmanship I've ever seen. I like CTD, but the fact that they are openly selling this junk and neither they nor BVHC will entertain returns is very suspect. I have 247 rounds of junk that I wouldn't even dream of letting someone run through their gun. I'm going to have this destroyed and never look back. I'll proably come back to CTD, but not after looking around at other places. I'm very disappointed. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!"

"Very batchy ammo, one box fired flawlessly through my m1a, the next I was getting similar fte's as others have mentioned. The casing would get stuck upon expanding so bad that it took needle nose pliers to get them out of my rifle. This happened 3 times in twenty rounds and now I\uFFFDm stuck with 230 rounds of garbage."

"bought a box of these after reading many positive reviews only to have the first one get jammed in my remington 700 so bad that I couldn't even move the bolt to get it out of the barrel. had to take it to a gunsmith to get it out. the guy told me this ammo is most likely \"military rejects\" hence the poor fitment in the barrel. needless to say I'm not gonna attempt to fire any more of these rounds through my rifle, so now i'm stuck with over 200 rounds. oh well, at least I'm not out that much money for these."

"I bought a box of these after everyone told me it was the best darn ammo to put through a gas gun. Sure enough. I've only gone through 70 or so, but on a brand new gun, not a single FTE, Stove pipe or misfire. Cycled my m1a socom 16 every time, every time. Going to be buying tons of this stuff. A friend that goes through thousands of more rounds than I do swears by it. (BTW he also has problems with it in his FAL.. it's the FAL's fault not the ammo check your extractor or send it in for repair) All ammo should cycle a rifle.. if it doesn't send it back. I only shoot cheap and never have problems.I have heard stories of some bad quality control getting fat brass stuck in people's breeches. I had none of it. Came highly recommended and met those expectations. I just wish it came in some more bullet styles. FMJs are fine, but not the be all end all. Can't fire em at some ranges."

"I bought these to break in a new DPMS LR308 and new scope. I was having problems with miss feeding about 10% of the rounds, did some reading of other reviews and searched reviews of DPMS rifles and found others with similar issues with their rifles and suggestions on bending tabs on the magazines. So I researched other magazine manufactures and found high reviews on Magpul magazine and some even saying these fixed their feeding problems. Ordered 2 new magazines and used then today with no more problems with this ammo and would now reccommend this ammo for fun/cheap shooting. Also the rifle is much more fun to shoot as well."

"The first box of this ammo worked great. The second was too short, the casing would jam in the camber of my Rem 700 and my LAR8. I found the casing and the slug to be shorter than the previous box that I had purchased. I guess you get what you pay for. Don't buy cheap ammo if you want it to perform."

"I went through a box of these with a brand spankin' new M1A. Even when I used Taiwanese magazines, I had not a single misfeed. This ammo is clean firing (at least compared to Russian junk), reliable, and the correct weight for my M1A. If your rifle isn't cycling this stuff, you probably need to fix your rifle. Unfortunately, this stuff is hard to find in bulk."

"Wish i would have bought more german battle packs. Anyway, ordered this ammo, haven't shot it yet but it looks great. well polished and 95% of brass is lake city. I am posting to give a common problem to people with new ar-10's. before you take your gun to mr. smith or complain about ammo, check your gas block. they are not torqued from factory. ps. I rated it 5 on looks only. i will rate again once i fire it."

"I had some trepidation about ordering and using this ammo beause of some of the negative reviews. I did, however, beause of the price. On a recent trip to a shooting facility I frequent, I took a couple of the bulk packs for testing. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I've been having problems with my DPMS LR308 (16\" bbl with collapsible stock that I replaced with an A2 solid) failing to extract and eject correctly. It happens with any ammo I feed it, and turned out to be a timing problem. In any case, I tried it with new Magpul magazines and the BVAC cartridges. After getting a 100-yard zero, I put the Aimpoint on the 200-yard swinging steel target and was overjoyed to find that I could hold dead on and just swat the heck out of it. After all the grief I've had with it, it was pure joy to ring sttel as fast as I could pull the trigger. I DID have two malfunctions, neither of which was ammunition-related. This stuff shoots... flat, clean and accurately. I then switched to my GA Precision bolt gun, and was pleasantly surprised to find I was getting 1 MOA groups out of this \"bulk\" ammo. No chambering, firing or extraction issues. Was not able to get any dope past 100, due to time constraints, but will in the future and share it here. All in all, I LIKE this. It ain't match ammo, but it'll do to take down the river."

"I'm writing again in order to update a prior review I made. BVAC sent me replacement ammo, and I am very happy with its quality. The ammo I received prior was not resized properly. BVAC made changes in its production to address this issue, and is, from what I experienced, putting out a quality product. Give this ammo a try. I think you will be happy with not only the price, but the quality as well. Have fun and thanks, BVAC!"

"This ammo shot fine through my ArmaLite AR-10. It jammed the bolt on my Remington PSS every time. I found this brass to be significantly shorter than the Remington and Winchester ammo I've shot through the same guns. Some of my friends with different bolt action rifles had the same problems. Otherwise, this is good ammo with no misfires."

"I don't think I'll be buying this stuff again. Leaves copper fouling in the barrel like nothing else I've ever shot. The bullets are copper plated and the plating comes off very easily. Consistency was lacking as well. There is much better stuff available for the money. I'm staying away from BVAC from now on."

"I don't know what the couple people on here are complaining about. I got the good stuff. 100% good ammo. Clean and reliable. No copper fouling. Some cases slightly dented from the bulk pack. None stick. Clean your gun and fix your extractor. I can't get enough of this. Probably gone through 7 boxes of the stuff since Christmas (dumped it all together). You'd think I'd get one dud, but no. All good. Like I said, 100%. No weak loads, no jams, and no stovepipes. 100% all the time. Take it to the zombie war, you're golden."

"I thought I would try this ammo out. It jammed in my AR-30, Savage 10, and DPMS SASS. It jammed so badly in my bolt guns I couldn't even move the bolt, and the accuracy was horrible. I tried it out at 500 yards where I was hitting consistently with Hornady and PMC bronze ammo, but this stuff was all over the place. Needless to say, the rest of this ammo is getting junked."

"I shot 500 rounds of this stuff through my LWRC REPR 16\" and had not one issue, no malfunctions, and it cycled great. For close range combat drills, it's perfect ammo. It's cheap and has clean Lake City brass that's reloadable. Remember, this is not long range precision ammo. I will be buying this regularly for my REPR."

"No issues with my Scout Squad. 5\" groups at 10 yards with iron sights, my first time firing the rifle, had me impressed. May be better deals out there and the brass shows dings from prior use in a semi auto, but not a single failure and not dirtier than the American Eagle I ran through it a few days later. Roughly the same round count - 100 per session, and cleaned the bore and gas tube piston before and after each. Whatever. Lake City brass carries a premium. Whether it's worth it, I don't know. Beats lacquered or zinc plated steel in terms of buildup/fouling any day, and the brass is reloadable. I don't even reload. Just save it in case I ever need to learn in a hurry. :)What's better for the money? I'm all ears!"

"I couldn't give it 5 bullets due to cost, but it's better than elsewhere out here in CA. I have fired 500 rds through my SOCOM II, rapid fire and single shot, and not 1 misfire or jam. I am not into reloading, but expended brass is in good shape. I will be keeping it just in case. Not any dirtier than military ball. Will continue to buy and recommend. Good stuff. Thank you, CTD."

"I was a little skeptical, but the cost versus product made this a great value. I ordered one 250 round box and hoped for the best. Without any doubt, when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. The ammo looked great, so all that was left was to try them. Using my DPMS LR308, the ammo functioned perfectly, with good accuracy and no feeding problems or jams. I also purchased stripper clips to store the ammo. I don\uFFFDt like random boxes of ammo, and even though I don\uFFFDt use the stripper clips for their intended purpose, they make it easy to see how many shells you have left and easily drop 10 rounds to start filling the magazines. Thumbs up for me."
