"Great product. I shot 100 rounds through my Colt SAA and the ammofunctioned flawlessly. I am going to order more."

"I bought 500 rounds of this and I am extremely pleased with its performance. With my Uberti 1873 Lever rifle, I get consistant bullseyes at 50 yrds and 1/2 MOA at 100 yrds. I won't claim to be an expert marksman, but between the rifle and ammo, I'm almost convinced that they can make any amateur look like a professional shooter! I had no FTF or FTE at all. It's a little smoky to shoot and leaves plenty of residue, but it funtions flawlessly.I also shot it out of my Pietta 1858 Stainless New Army with the RD conversion cylinders. Again, extremely accurate and manageable recoil in the 5-shot cylinders. Not sure that I would trust the 6 round cylinder to take the 950 fps pressure though. I haven't tried it, so I can't say for certain that it won't take it.I'd be perfectly comfortable using this round for short range deer, brown bear, coyote, and pig hunting as well. Excellent penetration, beautiful expansion, and decent speed. I'm certainly buying MUCH more!!"

"I put about 100 rds through my Ruger Vaquero, without a single hiccup. This ammo is very clean and very accurate. It's a great buy for the price too."

"I have a heavy weight Ruger BlackHawk .45 LC that really loves this ammo, it put them in a much better group than I can hold. Very consistent and relatively clean for lead bullets. The bullet is much harder than the Winchester Cowboy load and I did not see any leading in the barrel. The only bad news for me was my lighter weight Ruger Vaquero really kicks with this load."

"I tried the Bob Munden test of splitting playing cards with this ammo. I cut 2 cards into two pieces with this ammo with 2 shots. It is a great deal. The best!!"

"ok got out to the range and shot 50 or so rounds with my Judge and 454 Raging Bull-great groupings, quart size groups. I never had a problem with the .45 Long Colt. Will be getting more soon."

"I have fired around 150 rounds through my Ruger Bisley 7.5 barrel and New Vaquero 5.5 barrel. Both guns shoot great groups with this ammo."

"This is great ammo! Finished my first bulk box with no problems! Ordered second box and was here in a day! You guys ROCK! Thanks so much, I'll be back!"

"I was actually quite surprised with this ammo. I shot it out of a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan 2.5\" barrel with good results. At 50 yards, I was hitting center mass no problem. However, it is very dirty. About 40 rounds in, my grouping was spreading but that was completely expected. I keep my firearms clean, so no problems there. I would not hesitate to buy again."

"This is a great buy. I've gone through 500 rds with no issues. The brass is decent quality and reload worthy. The tapered bullet cuts down on lead fouling. I can shoot my SSIV all day with this and not get too beat-up. Holds nice groups @ 50-75 yards out of my Circuit-Judge. Depending on surfaces impacted, typical expansion is to be expected. Perfect all around. Best Bang for the Buck."

"I am impressed. I received my two boxes of this ammo and fired them in my new Henry rifle and they fed flawlessly, unlike the factory loaded ammunition. Great ammunition. I'll be back!"

"I got this ammo to feed in my NM Vaquero. The felt recoil is less than a .357 Magnum and shot cleaner than I expected. Good price, good bullets. Overall good deal. I'm going to have to get more for sure!"

"I was very excited to get this ammo and start shooting it through my Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy, due to the great reviews I read. I was sorely disappointed, though, when I put two rounds into the magazine tube and worked the action. The cartridge would not chamber and it took me 10 minutes to get it to line up properly so it would chamber and then eject. I had this problem for the first 20 rounds I grabbed out of the box. When I got them to finally chamber and eject, I noticed that the bullets had actually set back into the casing quite a bit after being loaded into the magazine tube. The setback caused the casing to catch on the chamber and prevented it from feeding, unless I fiddled with the weapon to get it to go in just so. The more I loaded at once, the more setback I noticed with the bullets. I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that you would want to crimp the casing and bullet to 1) create a seal, and 2) prevent bullet setback in a round that is most likely going to be used in a magazine tube fed weapon. When I called BVAC, they didn't seem to understand the concept of what was happening and basically said that it wasn't their ammo's fault and it should work fine. I didn't hear anything else from them and I expected better customer service from a company that I believe survives from word of mouth advertising. All in all, I really wanted to love this ammo and I gave it a 2 bullet rating because I believe it would be good plinking ammo at a great price for SA revolvers, just not lever action rifles."

"Bought 250 rounds to try. Went to the local indoor range. Kind of worried if there would be a haze of smoke left in my wake. When I shot six rounds out of my Beretta Stampede single action revolver, very little smoke and the recoil was less than my wife's .357. Ended up shooting 50 rounds and absolutely no complaints from the staff or other shooters! Awesome ammo, and I will be buying A LOT more! Thanks, BVAC!"

"I have purchased this and many other ammunitions from BVAC, and have never had an issue with any of the ammo at all. I would like to tell others looking that I will continue to purchase it."

"I bought this ammo a few months ago for my Henry Big Boy in .45 LC and have shot at several places as well as outside. It's a great cartridge, cycles well through my lever gun, and is deadly accurate. I'm hoping they'll get more in at least AND offer this ammo in bigger bulk packs of 500 or 1000."
