Van Hoy Snap Lock Folding Knife -
Van Hoy Snap Lock is an award winning ambidextrous side opening folding knife with dual pocket and money clips by Columbia River Knife and Tool has a 2.5 inch combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point serrated cutting edge. The blade and frame are AUS 4 stainless steel. The wishbone frame is a 100 percent effective blade guard. The cam locking system features two thumb wheels for truly ambidextrous use. This unique opening and locking mechanism allows fast one hand opening and closing at a "snap". Blade, frame and clips have a contemporary bead blast finish.

Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.

Drop Point Blade -
This blade has a gentle, sloping convex curve to the point versus the concave curve of the clip blade. Being thicker, this blade point is stronger for heavier tasks. It  stands up to abuse well, but isn't as effective for easy penetration.

Bead Blast Finish -
can be defined as any non reflective finish applied to the metal surface by bead blasting or sand blasting the blade with any of a variety of media. The intent is to roughen the surface for anti glare. The trade off is it tends to be more susceptible to corrosion due to the increased surface area exposed. This finish is also commonly referred to as a "military finish".

The Snap Lock -
Ed Van Hoy's award-winning 360 side-opening design has a lock that features 12 mating surfaces.

Ambidextrous - Using both hands with equal ease. Pertaining to knives, it is a knife that is not solely designed for a left or right handed person but can be used with equal ease by both hands.
