"Very consistent shooting round. I'm using a Ruger Model 96 .17HMR Lever Action and this stuff shoots 1/2" groups at 100 yards, and drops groundhogs on the spot. The first groundhog I shot with this ammo, was standing, and I thought I had missed him as he kept standing for a couple of seconds before falling over. He was a big one (23lbs) and there wasn't an exit wound whatsoever. Every groundhog I've shot at with this has dropped on the spot, dead. I've tried the Hollow point 20gr. and they don't as good of a job. In fact I had one smaller one (10lb range) shot through the chest that crawled off after being hit with a hollow point in the chest. I found him about 40 feet away and the round went clean through. Not the case with the V-Max bullets. Rarely have I had one exit, and they always drop where hit. This is my ammo of choice for my Ruger. I've shot every brand made, and my gun likes this the best. (Please note): Just because my rifle likes it best doesn't mean your's will. Try several brands at the range and decide after that."

"I use this in BR competition for 25 and 50 yards. 1 shot per bull. 25 bulls... 250 25x max score. I shot a 249 11x on a target designed for a .22. The x ring is about .15" so a .17 does not leave much room for error. I have tried all the brands and weights and found this to preform the best. I use a marlin 917 stock with a BSA 6-18 x 50 sweet 17 scope. @ 50 yards I shot a 240 6x. Consistent as can be and have never had a missfire. Maybe 1000 to 1100 rounds."

"I used this in my CZ 453 and shoot 3/8 to 7/16 inch groups at 100 yards consistently (no wind). Scope is Sightron 4.5-14 HHR reticle. The first hash mark on the reticle is dead on at 150 yards and the second hash mark is a half inch low at 200 yards. This is a great hog combo."

"I use this bullet for fox coon and sometimes I get lucky to spot a song dog! Ive shot all brands and this is the best by far. I have a savage 93r17 and Ive stopped fox dead in their tracks at 150 yards. I wouldnt hesitate to take one at 2oo. Definitely give these a shot...Im sold!!!!!"
