BVAC 10mm Auto Ammunition Notice:
Due to numerous customer request for the BVAC 10MM to reach maximum velocity, BVAC had changed the load to 1250 fps January 1st 2012 to March 1st 2012. In doing so, we have seen signs of case failures in unsupported chambered weapons. One example is the Colt Delta Elite. We recommend that if you purchased the BVAC 10MM ammunition during this time period that you only shoot the ammo in fully supported weapons such as the Smith and Wesson, Beretta, or Sig Sauer. You can also contact BVAC directly to exchange the ammo for the standard 10mm Auto round. BVAC has reduced the load back to the standard velocity of 1125 fps.

"Got 300 rounds to try, mainly because 10mm seems to be hard to get. Upon inspection had one round with the primer installed the wrong way (reversed). Doesn't say much for inspection/quality control. Haven't shot any yet so will see how they do. All rounds were clean, and cases were same brand and looked like new cases."

"I bought 5 boxes a while back, and have shot one 50 round box. So far no problems, and the ammo looks good. The primers feel seated. The projectiles all have the same seating depth. This ammo seems to have consistent recoil, and it doesn't feel as powerful as Winchester Silver-tip 175 grain. It feels more like Winchester Sub-sonic loads. I still like them, and will probably buy more when it is available."

"Initially I was a little hesitant to try due to the mixed reviews, so I purchased 2 boxes of the FMJ & 2 boxes of the JHP ammo (both in 10mm). Both worked flawlessly in my Glock 20. My Kimber only had 2 Failure to feeds (both easily cured by tapping the back of the slide) with the FMJ but digested all JHP ammo with no issues. Will be purchasing more of each (& also will be trying out other BVAC ammo)."

"You're getting 50 rounds of brand new jacketed hollow point ammo for the price of 20 rounds of brand names like the Silvertips ect. So why buy only a 20 round box of JPH ammo when you can get a 50 round box for the same price? I used this brand of ammo in my Glock 20 10mm auto, and it worked great with no problems at all. I will be buying more. Thank you Cheaper Than Dirt for carrying this high quality ammo from BVAC. Also I forgot to say this is all brand new ammo and can be reloaded if your a reloader. Just try it I think you will like it, my guns sure did."

"I have put 130 rounds through a new Glock 29. One FTF @ 60 something....partly due to me I'm sure (Limp wristing). I haven't bought or shot any other ammo through this gun, so I'm not sure as to comparing it to other brands. If I can get some more I probably won't worry about it. Plinking with hollow points is a dream come true."

"This is great ammo at a good price. I shot some in my G20 and it performed flawlessly and was grouping 1.5\" at 35 yards. The ammo is smooth and very consistent. My Kimber 1911 loves this stuff and shoots .95\" groups at 35 yards, neither had any hiccups of the 200 I put through them combined. I am very comfortable using this ammo and caliber for back up on larger game (hogs, bear, etc.)."

"Good clean ammo. I shot two hundreds rounds this AM and not a single problem. Cheap! I will buy more. CTD delivered it in three days from when I ordered it."

"This is some good clean ammo. What a deal for HP ammo at this price. This felt better than the Hornady and the Remington that I shot. Went through about 100 rounds without a problem. Too bad this is back ordered. Living in California and really going to miss this round."

"Great price for this caliber (10mm) No problems at all from my Glock 20. I will continue to buy this ammo here if the price remains the same. shot a hundred rounds yesterday and cleaned pistol after ,not dirty at all. Groups consistent for me at 25 and 50 feet."

"The ammo seems fine but that is not the problem. These are not loaded with Speer gold dots as the CTD photo represents. That was the determining factor for my purchase of this ammo. With that said they are loaded with federal hydra shocks. What\uFFFDs the difference? Gold dots are bonded to reduce the chance of core jacket separation through barriers, hydra shocks are not. I am a little disappointed with CTD on this one as I thought it would be an accurate depiction of the product."

"Good stuff. Very accurate and consistent. I've put 200 rounds through my S&W 1006 with absolutely no problems."

"This BVAC ammo is awesome. Some people get confused because they use slightly different slugs from lot to lot. No matter what you get, it all performs well. Those who complain about lack of accuracy need to take some shooting lessons."

"Just got in 6 boxes, best ammo I have ever run through my Glock 20 and Smith & Wesson 1006, very accurate, extremely powerful, typically I pay 35 dollars a box for 180 FMJ, coming across this stuff for under 20 bucks a box is a steal."

"While the hollow point is not always the same from box to box, you cannot beat this price. They are accurate, reliable and clean. I would recommend for anyone. My Glock 20C eats them all day."

"Went through 200 rounds of this ammo through my G20, and it performed as my horniday ammo at 12 yards. The only problem I had was that a few of the rounds had pieces of the jacket missing off the tip of the hollow point. This did not affect the round firing however, and I had a lot of fun.I will be buying more of this."

"The price is right, if your G-20 has fliers you need a stiffer spring, this will also help on recoil and consistent velocity. Clock it and see the fps before you blame the ammo. I reccomend the fire dragon dual action buffer spring system, happy shooting!"

"Probably the cheapest 10mm ammo I could find. Awesome stuff! No problems feeding and not one misfire so far. Will definitely buy some more... once it's in stock."

"I have fired several different brands through my Glock 20. This is the most consistent of any. I had several FTF with other brands, but none with this ammo. I am ordering more today. I shoot at 25 and 40 yds and I have no problems with accuracy."

"I ordered some of these earlier this year and I am about to order some more boxes. My first order were loaded with Gold Dots. Maybe BVAC switched up lots of bullets, but either way you can't go wrong with these rounds. Not very dirty like some complained about and they offered plenty of good 'ol fashioned 10mm power. My glock just ate these up with not one FTF, FTE or a misfire. Every single round went bang. Thanks CTD!"

"My only complaint is they're kinda dirty but I clean my stuff and besides its a glock it can handle it. But the ammo seemed pretty consistent and you can't beat the price, left big holes in an old tv and that old keg is swiss cheese. No malfunctions and each round looked very nice for whatever thats worth."

"Pulled the bullet on one round. 4.3 grs of powder. That is a very low amount for 10mm. Wouldn't expect this to go over 7-800 ftp. Brass looks like it is sourced from \"top brass\" I don't know anything about top brass but it looks decent. I would not recommend this ammo. It will be way too slow, definitely not 1200fts."

"Was happy to find a JHP round for cheap, but after firing 100 rounds, I will NOT be getting these again. Not because they had feeding problems (they performed fine with no misfeeds), but because they did not have as much PUNCH as I am use to from the G20."

"Shot some in Glock - less penetration than Aguila .380 ACP JHP. Jacket broke up and separated from core. Hardly any deformation of the core, but for the price, it's the best \"Made in USA\" you can find."
