"THESE RINGS ARE NOT AS THEY ARE PICTURED. I BOUGHT 12 PAIR. EXPECTING TO RECEIVE B-SQUARE RINGS WITH 4 SCREWS IN THE TOP HALF. WHAT I RECEIVED WAS WINCHESTER RINGS WITH 2 SCREWS IN THE TOP HALF. I CALLED CTD AND WAS TOLD THEY ARE MADE BY B-SQUARE. I COULD LIVE WITH THE 2 SCREWS IF THE RINGS WERE MADE OF STEEL BUT THEY ARE MADE OF ALUMINUM. THESE RINGS WILL NOT HOLD A SCOPE TIGHT ENOUGH ON A GUN WITH ALOT OF RECOIL. WOULD BE ALRIGHT ON A .22 or .17 I WOULD NOT USE THEM ON A 06 SIZE CASE. I BOUGHT ITEM # 36500, 36501, 36502. ALL 3 ARE THE SAME 2 SCREW ALUMINUM"

"I prefer these light aluminum rings because the rail and scope tubes are also aluminum. To over come the strength issue i often use three or four rings on one scope(but yes the 4 screw top rings are best IMO) I think this makes a better mount. On AR15 with handle and mount the low rings bring the 50 mm scope view just over the front sight. Beware that you can bend a scope tube with an improper mounting.."
