Girsan's MC1911 Noel is Built for Competition
The engineers at Girsan wanted to build a new 1911 for competitive shooting, so they gave their 1911S Match to Noel, one of their competition shooters, and asked him to come up with his choices for the most desirable upgrades for a competition handgun. Noel suggested a laundry list of upgrades such as an enlarged ambidextrous thumb shield style safety, deeper front and rear slide serrations, solid guide rod, thicker front bushing, an enhanced trigger, a better magazine well, G10 grips, fiber optic front sight, extended magazine release, and a better slide to frame fit. After making those changes as well as opting for a stainless steel frame and slide, Girsan built a pistol with Noel's name on it. Now, Girsan is happy to announce the Girsan MC1911 Noel. This is a 1911 pistol that's ready for competition right out of the box and doesn't require hundreds or thousands of dollars of gunsmithing to make it ready for match day.
