Description

The Hell's Canyon Max LR Can Put Trophies on Your Shelf or Meat on Your Table

Capable of exceptional accuracy, the Hell's Canyon Max Long Range rifle features a Composite McMillan Game Scout stock with an OVIX camouflage finish, a 26" fluted, heavy sporter contour barrel, and a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake which helps reduce recoil with the .300 Winchester Magnum. To further reduce perceived recoil and improve shooter comfort and accuracy, the X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Max LR has an Inflex 2, large recoil pad. When a Browning with the Inflex recoil pad is fired, the pad collapses, but instead of simply moving to the rear, directional ribs pull the comb down and away from your face for even greater shooting comfort and faster follow-ups. McMillan stocks are U.S. Marine proven tough and the Game Scout gives the X-Bolt shooter a sporter-style stock with tactical long-range features. This exceptional stock features a medium-sized fore-end with straight comb buttstock that offers a smooth transition for shooters who want a compact hunting stock with tactical stock features. It also features a comfortable vertical pistol grip with thumb shelf. The stock is fitted with two quick-detach (QD) cups for a sling, plus it has a single front swivel just for a bipod (not included). Textured panels on the fore-end and pistol grip offer a great feel. It is finished off with a dip in versatile Browning OVIX camouflage. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for the Browning X-Lock scope mounting system which uses 4 screws instead of 2 screws for consistency. A Bolt Unlock Button is integrated into the bolt which allows you to check the condition of the rifle while the tang-mounted safety is still engaged. The short 60-degree bolt throw is fast cycling and allows for quick loading without interference from the scope. The Browning Feather Trigger is the heart of accuracy with the X-Bolt Hell's Canyon McMillan LR rifle. Clean, crisp, no take-up and minimal overtravel gives the Feather Trigger a superior feel. With an adjustable trigger pull weight from 3 to 5 lbs. you can find the pull weight that best meets your needs. The trigger is pre-set at approximately 3.5 lbs. at the factory. A 3-round detachable rotary magazine feeds your cartridges directly into the chamber without the left/right offset found in traditional magazines. The magazine sets flush with the stock for a sleek look. For long-range competition or long-range hunting, the X-Bolt Hell's Canyon McMillan LR rifle is another great option from Browning.
