In honor of Veteran’s Day, I decided to feature items that commemorate those that have served and those that still serve our great country.
Federal has released a special box of their Top Gun shotgun shells that benefits our injured troops. A portion of sales from each box goes to the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps service members who have service-related wounds, injuries, and illnesses since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Not only has Federal made a commemorative box, but also each shotgun shell is red, white, or blue. A random mix of our flag’s colors is in each box.
Federal specifically designed the Top Gun ammunition series for high-volume clay shooting. The 12 gauge, 2-3/4-inch shells are filled with #8 lead, 1-1/8 ounce shot. Each box has 25 rounds.

Puma M-92 Wounded Warrior Commemorative Lever-Action Rifle
In 2009, Legacy Sports International, with the sale of their commemorative Puma M-92 lever action rifle, was able to donate $20,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project. In 2010, Legacy International sponsored a wounded warrior shooting team at the 29th Annual HOAG Charity Shoot. They continue to support our troops and those wounded in service by offering a commemorative Puma M-92 lever-action rifle.
This commemorative rifle features Wounded Warrior and United States flag etchings on the receiver and a laser-engraved eagle on the stock.
Chiappa builds the Puma M-92 to Browning specifications in Italy. John Moses Browning designed the original Model 1892. The Puma M-92 chambered for the .44 Remington Magnum caliber, features a 20-inch barrel, 10-round capacity, a walnut stock, and stainless steel barrel.
