I have a total of seven of the thirty round mags, and they are as advertised. I dont understand the problem in dealing with the cosmoline, that was a way of life in the military, and that is what you are getting, military magazines. I wonder what some would say if they received a rifle that had been packed in it?(Cosmoline) Good stuff, that would be the mags. Max

I picked up 2 of these just because the price was good. Mine arrived with no cosmoline on them at all and both of them were rusted in a couple of spots. They are definately not new but after some wd-40 and a coat of flat black paint it looked alot better. For the price, I cant complain.....to much. They work.

I just got this mag today and i was very happy with it. Steel mags are deffently the best in my mind and this one is worth the money. I have a Wasr 10 low cap modded to a high cap and the mag fits perfect, highly recommend

I have 8 of these from various countries, some from here, some from elsewhere. These things are indestructible. I have only had problems with 2 of them, I just took them apart, and on both, the followers had been slightly bent. took a pair of pliers to them and voila, absolutely no problems with any of my ak mags, including my 2 poly pro mags. 5 stars.

First I must say that this magazine appears brand new... maybe it was refinished, but I see no evidence of that. It cane in a little plastic bag that was bulging with cosmoline (grease). It may be a little messy at first, but that grease is why it is in such good condition. A few minutes with a few paper towels and it was ready to go. Disassembly was easy, I used only a bullet tip as a tool, and later discovered you really only need your pinky finger. The lips on this thing are very thick, you won't bend them. In all, it is held together with something like 49 spot welds (I think that was how many I counted). There is a loaded magazine indicator at 30 rounds which is just a hole so you can see the head of the cartridge, so apparently the communists don't load down by 2 (who knew?) An excellent magazine... I have never seen anything better regardless of price. This is a great magazine, and at a great price. Don't bother looking through the rest of the AK mags, believe me I picked through them all, this is the one you want if you are looking for quality at a great price.

I don’t know about “Un-issued Condition,” but you cant beat these for the price. I’ve ordered 6 and all have functioned perfectly once cleaned up. Expect small amounts of rust, dents, and lots of grease. Break them down and use brake pad cleaner found at any auto parts store to take off the grease, and what ever oil you prefer for the rust. Load and shoot :)

These mags are nice. Mine had a couple small spots of rust but nothing that wd-40 wouldn't take care of. I have to do alittle filling, BUT that is my fault since I am using them on a WASR-1O with a single to DOUBLE stack conversion. No jams out of 60 rounds. Good for the price! 88

I bought 10 mags all 10 were excellent condition just like the add said. Cosmoline is to be expected,no rust,no dents.I tryed them in more than a couple ak's they all fit.great buy!

Just got a pair of these today, and they are in better condition than the mags that came with the WASR-10/63 I've got. Will definitely get more as you can never have too much ammo. I will not die from the lack of shooting back.

These are the best AK-47 mags I have seen anywhere. They were shipped thursday and arrived saturday. Thanks Cheaper than Dirt! They fit the stg-2000-c ak-variant, contrary to what PRO-MAG has been claiming, that only pro-mags fit the stg-2000-c.

I bought 2 of these and they were in such great condition I ordered 2 more. Excellent condition. Mine looked like they had never been used. What more can I say? I need to order more...

These were supposed to be unissued, excellent condition 30 round mags. One looks like it came over on the mayflower, 50% of the blue rubbed off. The other one looked brand new except for a spot about the size of a dime that was almost rusted through. I have bought a lot of stuff from CTD in the last month, have never got anything this bad. I will still buy from CTD, hopefully my future orders will be as good as my first ones were.

Just got both mags that I ordered. Both were in almost pristine condition with storage cosmoline intact. A little treatment with the heat gun to melt off the cosmo, a quick wipe and a touch of CLP and they are ready to rock! These are better than the mags that came with my WASR-10/63!!! Cheaper Than Dirt comes thru again!!! Thanks guys!!!

Well, in my first order of these mags, I saw signs of wear and tear, i.e. rust, dents, and some cosmoline. While 3 out of the 4 mags I ordered worked perfectly, I had to take some tools to smooth out the mag body, and a dremel to work out the sharp corners on the follower. After that, all 4 worked like a charm. My second order was quite different. 5 out of the six I ordered were good, some had more rust than others, one was literaly NEW never been used, then mister murphy came and said hi. The last mag is emulsified in cosmoline. The body is straight, and the follower seems to work, but the thing is totally coverd and filled with cosmoline. I understand that I bought surplus mags, I was willing to take the hit, but cant qc at least take a closer look at the products before they get sent out? Either way, 9 out of the 10 mags work great. Like I said, some needed some work, the last one needs Jesus and acouple cans of break free or a parts washer.

Good quality mag, very durable, fit perfect and functioned perfect in my Yugo. I will be buying more, thanks CTD!!!

have ordered three of these mags so far. Each one received is different in quality. Last one I ordered was extremely dirty (still had shipping lube inside). I have a hard time believing these mags have never been issued because each of them I purchased have been well used. Regardless, heavy duty quality item for the price!

Functioned great in my MAK-90. Much stouter spring than other AK mags. However, far from excellent unissued condition.

The 2 that I purchased looked brand new. They fit my Century AK47 and fed purfect. Can't beat the price!

Bought 4. Three were great, 1 had to be bent in a vise, and ALOT of Dremel work to fit and feed properly. Overall 3 out of 4 ain't bad i guess.

I got two of these and had to file down one a little bit so i would fit smoothly into the receiver of my WASR 10/63, other than that no complaints whatsoever.

I ordered two of these, and will order more. These are in excellent condition. No rust, no dents. VERY solid contruction. Springs are in good shape, and followers move smoothly. A tremendous value!

These are good magazines, and I prefer them over any polymer fancy dancy magazines outsid eof TRUE military mags, but they can be had for 8 bucks a piece at most gun shows I've been too...add shipping to this and it's twice as much as it should be...

For the money these mags are a great deal. Some of these mags don't fit perfectly in the receiver of my WASR-10 but after a few seconds with a rotary tool on the mag it fit just perfect (no modifications needed on the rifle). Spring strength is just right and these mags are very durable. Overall best bang for buck!

i just got a order of 5, 2 are dented just a bit but the Follower sticks so they are of no use, but as 10 and 20 round mags on the range. Plenty of oil not much caked on grease. So only minor cleaning was needed. still check your mags to make sure they are fully working.

I am very pleased with my purchase of these magazines. They come packed in grease, so you have to clean them up. That's no problem at all, because you're getting military-grade mags with durability and smooth feeding all the way here. I have a Romanian AK and they fit perfect and work great. I'll buy more!

I just got my mags two days ago and there was of course some cosmo (grease) on them but not too much at all. They are in great condition almost like new! They all fit right in the gun and work perfectly. I plan to get more now that i know how they work and you all should buy'em up to.

Well, these mags are surplus. The cosmo (grease) is there to protect them while they were in storage. Good exercise though, having to take them apart and cleaning them. For the price you pay they are as good as those found elsewhere.

3 out of 6 mags that i ordered wouldnt fit, and had to be taken apart and cleaned. a LITTLE cleaning was expected, but not as much as i did. GLOBS of grease were inside the mags and were a pain in the rear to clean. I guess i should have known to stick with the new mags.
