|I bought five boxes of Blazer Brass FMJ 230 Grain ammo. I fired it all through my new Remington 1911 R1. There was a single failure to feed properly, but I am pretty sure that was due to one of the two magazines that came with the gun as it happens with various brands and types of ammo - always on the last round - always in one of those Remington mags and not with the aftermarket mags. Otherwise this ammo functioned flawlessly. Accuracy was about as good as any from 3 out to 25 yards. Shoots failrly clean. Inexpensive ammo, good for practice, plinking and to break in a pistol.
All the best,
