|OK, It's MILSURP, so I wasn't expecting a pristine, un-issued item.
Condition is overall, fair, and it fits the rifle exactly (unlike ALL CHICOM reproductions).
The end of the blade has been blunted and folded over, probably because a Czek soldier was trying to toss it into a tree or something, and hit a tank with it. The blade also has some corrosion damage. I will need to take this to someone to be sharpened, and have the tip of the blade restored to its proper contour. And refinished.
Positives: as I stated above, it fits excellently. Rivets (rivets?) holding the grips on were a bit funky, but cleaned up really nice. The grips themselves are in better than acceptable shape as well, and are made of the correct "beaver barf" material. The scabbard is in very nice condition. I expect it is unissued with storage weathering only, and the leather is very strong and plyable.
It's milsurp. Paid much less than some other sellers were asking, but will need to put money into it to restore the equipment.
Conclusion: It's OK.|
