|These grips are wonderful once you get them installed! They're a little tight and need to be stretched just right to get the screw holes lined up, took me about 10 minutes of working it this way and that, but once they were on, they fit wonderfully and are extremely comfortable.
One thing of note. Standard plastic and wooden grips for a 1911 have a notch cut out on the right grip for the safety (the little "arm" that extends toward the grip). The Hogue grips don't have that. However, being a molded rubber, the safety lever works, it just makes the safety a little harder to push up and engage, and push down to disengage. Not the biggest deal in the world, but still worth noting.|
