2.0 Rating no power - 7/10/2012

Bad. Switch between this and Remington Express and you will see and feel the difference. No duds, but was shooting from fine S&W 686 combat magnum. Not Brazilian junk. Does swell more than brass. I won't be buying again.

This ammo is worth the money, it is a real good shot for practicing, but when it comes to killin they dont have alot of penetration

2.0 Rating 357 - 2/3/2009

I shot 50 rounds through my rossi, and i was not impressed with the ammo. They hung up when you tried to extract them and in some cases there were duds (non fires). So i dont recomend this ammo.

1.0 Rating .357 Mag in name only - 1/10/2009
Reviewer: sd
I have been shooting this stuff as practice ammo for some time now and was a bit suspicious of it. It always felt a good bit lighter than other .357 Mag ammo I have shot. Eventually I got a chrono, fired a cylinder full over it, and found out why. Out of a 4" revolver six rounds averaged 778fps at 10 ft from the muzzle. That is pathetic when the factory advertises at rating of 1150 fps. Most .38 Special ammo is hotter than this stuff. The other issue I have with it is that the aluminum cases tend to hand when trying to extract them. I hardly ever have this problem with brass cases. Given all of that, I cannot recommend this ammo for anything other than trigger practice. Because it shoots so light, you can send a lot of it downrange without much fatigue. I think it's worthless for self defense carry or training because it's weak and it hangs on extraction. I only bought it for so long because I wasn't reloading then and it was cheaper than anything else out there. However, there are now better deals to be had these days with some brands of brass-cased ammo.

3.0 Rating hard to extract - 10/31/2008
Reviewer: cw
find they tend to hang up when you go to extract them at least when you do any type of combat style shooting and you are really pushing the ammo through revolver the heat swells the aluminum case other than that they are ok .

This stuff totally blew me away this morning. I ran 180 rounds through my Ruger GP100. I cannout believe how well these rounds worked. Reasonably clean shoots well and priced right. Thanks Cheaper than dirt!!!
