|Got this for the times when snows come around and its unlimited shots. Fits well on my old Remington 1100, and installs fairly easily (only shot the spring across the room once). Nice thing is I have an 870 Express as well, but there is one catch (not Carlsons fault at all), the orange stopper won't fit the existing magazine. The magazine has two raised notches to only allow the factory stopper to be put in one way. No big deal I thought, I'll just use the old one. Problems start when you load more than five and push the factory stopper past those notches, then when shooting or unloading, the stopper get stuck on its way back down. Again, not Carlson's fault, but due to the design of the 870. I'm not sure if it's just the 870 Express Magnum receiver that I have, or if all of them are this way.
As I said before, works great with my 1100, just check your 870 magazine to see if it has the notches on the end for the stopper to be loaded one way. You could probably file them down or just heat/press them back out.|
