ESS ICETM eyeshields offer a unique combination of impact resistance, unrestricted views, and interchangeable lenses for excellent eye protection in any light. Authorized for use and issued by the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force, they are also the only combat spectacles issued to British Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 2.4mm polycarbonate high-impact lenses offer distortion-free clarity and broad coverage from projectiles. The ICE’s unlimited field of view is ideal for weapons sighting and is compatible with all helmets and communications equipment. Reinforced PosiLockTM temples provide secure frame/lens retention.

This particular ESS ICE system includes one complete eyeshield with clear lens and has an additional smoke lens. Also included is a heavy duty nylon pouch, neck strap, lens cloth, and fully illustrated instructions on how to change out lens and care for the eye protection.

Used in Grade I Condition.

The ESS eye wear that I received yesterday was brand new. One set of frames, clear and smoke lens, case, retaining strap, soft bag carrier/cleaning cloth, and small bottle of anti-fog liquid. All brand new! That saves me 40+ bucks off retail. Thank you, CTD.

Just received my second pair of these. I was so impressed w/the first I thought I got lucky and waited on second pair for review. Brand new in a good case, two lenses, silk pouch; everything. They are the NARO version (thankfully) and come by default with clear lens installed. As stated by others, lens changing is tough (I invented new curse words) but is a testament to their toughness. And yes, these are EXACTLY what sells for triple (and up). I'd love a yellow lens too, but I'm not complaining. BTW, packed nicely/safely, along w/other stuff by CTD. I couldn't wait to pay a 5 bullet rating tribute on this one.

Ordered these with 4,000 rounds of ammunition. The warehouse crew threw three pairs of these in a box with about a 1,000 rounds of ammunition. Amazingly enough, none of the glasses were broken, but the lenses were all scratched.

Very comfortable eye wear here with a wide field of view. These are the ICE NARO glasses which generally retail for about $60+ so the price point is very attractive as well. My only complaint is that it was tough to change the lenses out (comes with smoke and clear) and I was afraid I was going to break the glasses trying to do so. But I suppose that speaks for the durability of the product and you won't have to worry about the glasses coming apart on you during use. At the current price point you could even buy two pair!

I have worn the ESS ICE series since they were introduced. When I saw this price, I grabbed two sets. I was really surprised when they arrived and they were the NARO version made for smaller face/head. I was afraid when I saw the label that I would not be able to use them. Very pleased and surprised with the fit. I have one frame set up in smoke and the other in clear. Day or night, I am ready. Other pairs have saved me from flying debris in the past. There is a reason they are standard issue by our military and several other nations as well. Retail is about $60 per pair, GREAT BUY!
