Our Safariland 280S holster was designed specifically for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. This mid-ride Level II retention holster meets all departmental guidelines and features a thumb snap retention hood and set screws to secure the holster to the duty belt.

Suede lined black leather with a basketweave finish. Used in excellent condition.

Got the holster today and must say I am very happy with the money I have spent. Not exactly excellent but with some wear scuffs and signs of definite use, the holster was intact and well made. Cannot complain it is well worth the money.

I had purchased this on a whim because it shows a 1911 in the picture, and usually Holsters that fit My Remington Rand M1911A1 1944 will also fit my L frame 4 inch 686-3, it is way too tight too. I also thought I was getting a M9 yesterday but I got a Glock 17. IT doesn't fit the Glock 17, but it does fit the 1911. To use the retention with the 1911 full size models, Cock and lock it, then the retention slips over it.

Even if you don't need one of these, for this price, get one anyway. Best $ I've ever spent on a holster. Mine arrived and I was shocked at how new it looked and little wear, if any, it had. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Heavy duty, clean, and shinny black basket weave. Mine looks better than the one in the picture. Once again, CTD offers up a great deal at a great price. Thank you, CTD.

Glad I ordered it and received it so promptly. Superb quality, nearly brand new, made for the 92 Beretta, and couldn't fit any better or more securely. The only thing is the set screws on top of the belt loop are there and not needed if you don't use this with a duty belt. So, I will be looking into removing these two bolt ends one way or another. Don't get me wrong though - a lot of gun holster here and can't be beat. They are nearly giving them away IMO.
