Original Military ammo cans are used extensively in the field to transport a variety of calibers of ammunition to the troops. The cans feature a removable lid with a rubber gasket seal, flat folding handle for carrying, lever-lock lid that is lockable, and they are constructed of heavy gauge steel. These are ideal for storing ammunition and they are stackable. All the cans are used, but like new. Grade of usage varies by can. Since they are original military there will be military markings on the outside. Non-returnable. Each can is described by Grade, Grade I cans are in like new condition; Grade III are used in fair condition and may have dents, rust, paint, scratches, discoloration, and will show wear.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited. Unfortunately, we can not accept backorders or returns on any surplus products.
. Surplus condition scale: Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

As always, fast shipping! I would rate these cans as medium grade. I got one marked blasting cap and one marked 7.62mm. The insides are perfect with the rubber seal and the outside is rusted badly with lots of scratches. Going to need a can of OD Green and some sandpaper to make them look decent!

*** Please read before buying *** These ammo cans were advertised as "Like New shipment," and "We just got these in..." What a great way to make the buyer think they were getting a deal. I wish I could add pictures! These 200 cartridge 7.62mm NATO cans are worse than what I can buy at the local Army surplus store (visible surface rust on the lids and hinges, scratched, dented)! What a waste of money. I love Cheaper Than Dirt, but they disappointed me here! Do not waste your money! These are "Grade III" or lesser value!

Just got mine today and I was really impressed. One tiny scratch under the handle and I really had to look to find that one.

I ordered two of these boxes. They say they are "Grade I" and the description lists what Grades II and III are supposed to be. One of the boxes I received was a bit used with small scratches, dirt, some rust, but not bad; a Grade II really. The other one had an ADDED BONUS: a quarter inch of rusty water in the bottom and extensive rust inside; a Grade III at best. Still, this price is not too bad since these things can be sanded and painted, if necessary, and will last forever while taking abuse. Just be advised that the condition of what you get is random luck.
