Original Military ammo cans are used extensively in the field to transport a variety of calibers of ammunition to the troops. The cans feature a removable lid with a rubber gasket seal, flat folding handle for carrying, lever-lock lid that is lockable, and they are constructed of heavy gauge steel. These are ideal for storing ammunition and they are stackable. All the cans are used, but like new. Grade of usage varies by can. Since they are original military there will be military markings on the outside. Non-returnable. Each can is described by Grade, Grade I cans are in like new condition; Grade III are used in fair condition and may have dents, rust, paint, scratches, discoloration, and will show wear.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited. Unfortunately, we can not accept backorders or returns on any surplus products.
. Surplus condition scale: Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

These things are great! Sure, they're used, but in good condition. I've bought six total, on several different occasions. They're all consistent in condition/quality. Perfect for storing different types of bulk ammo.

I got these cans yesterday. They were in like new condition and perfect for what I want to do. Cheaper Than Dirt is always great to deal with. Now I need some .50s and I'll be all set.

As advertised, these cans are not new, but the two I got were in very good shape. Wiped out with a damp cloth, dried, and now they look great. Works great. Reminds me of my service days.

Pristine inside - some small scratches and tiny dings, and hints of rust outside. One pea-sized dent is on the corner edge (a sharp one). Thankfully, it didn't make a tiny hole in the wall. Seals are fresh and "gooshy." I cleaned it up in 5 minutes and it was good to go. For anyone concerned with rubber seal maintenance, if they ever seem to get dry with age, use SILICONE based lube only, never just "oil." This goes for all o-rings/gaskets (except on a car's oil filter). Anyway, I'd chance this purchase again.
