Wasn't sure what to expect. Good construction, light weight. Inserts are usefull if you need them. Have purchased metal cans from CTD, these are overall better, IMHO.

Ordered the case of these cans. Very big box. Cans are different than the picture. They are more of a coyote brown than desert tan, even though they are labeled so. Have black inserts, not green. Also, these have a rubber gasket, so I guess they are waterproof like the metal cans. These are Smart-Reloader brand cans. Good stuff!

Great ammo storage cans, awesome price, awesome all around. Four bullets because I would have preferred buying these without the inserts. To me those are now a waste, maybe I can use them for my fishing tackle or something in my garage. Lose the inserts and lower the cost.

Great ammo cans. The only reason I didn't give them five bullets is because the latches are VERY tight and hard to unlatch. Hard to relatch also. Maybe they will free up the more they get used, but rest assured, they will NEVER come open by themselves.

I bought these on sale and was a little leary of plastic ammo cans. I typically only use the surplus metal cans. These are GREAT! Very well made. Some plastic cans have the cheap all plastic hinges that fatigue and break. These have well made hinges with a steel pin. They have nice positively locking closures and appear to be waterproof. These come with 3 organizing trays in each can. The organizing trays are configurable. By simply removing some of the partitions you can make the compartments differing sizes. CTD hits another winner! CONCERNING CUSTOMER SERVICE: In this same order they left out an item and sent me an AR-15 cross hair front sight which I didn't order by mistake. When I called them about the error, they told me to keep the sight and they would send me the item that I did order. Awesome. I happen to have an AR-10 that I bought from CTD and the sight fits perfectly and is much better than the factory sight. CTD is great all the way around. HooRah!
