Buy two for every AR you own. These things are great. I only put six mags in mine (though you could squeeze in more) and they have the durability, weight, and ease of use you would expect.

Most of the reviews tell the story here. My six AK 30 round magazines fit perfectly. The pouch is very well made and the strap isn't weak at all. You might want to loosen the ring and mount the strap directly. This is my bug out carrier. I like how unassuming the pouch is. When the SHTF, you don't want to look like a full geared up Marine; you want to blend in. This bag doesn't look like a magazine pouch. I like the separate pockets for each magazine; it keeps the noise down. The Velcro closure might be an issue when getting a magazine out with one hand. I'm thinking about locking the pouch down using the ring. This is just a great pouch. At this price, you can't go wrong. I would say buy more, but six steel magazines and 180 rounds of 7.62x39mm is heavy enough.
