Carry your Ruger Mark .22 pistol securely with this ambidextrous holster from Black Dog Machine. Comes with two plates for high or low ride. Includes top cutout to accommodate pistols with short rails and small optics.

Fits all Ruger Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, and 22/45 pistols.
Weight: 8 ounces.
Will accomodate up to 2 1/4" belts
Will not work with B-Square Scope Mounts. Will not work with drilled and tapped scope mounts, including the factory mounts supplied by Ruger and the Weaver rails. The rails can be shortened but will only work with small Red Dots.

This Holster is great!! I have a Ruger MK III Target Pistol and it fits perfectly. It is very durable, and I love that it comes with the low ride attachment. I don't have any optic mounts or sights on my pistol so I can't comment on the other posts that say it doesn't fit. Very comfortable to wear, and looks sharp. Overall a great holster for the MK series!

I own a Ruger 22/45 and have been looking for quite some time for a holster that really fit this gun. Shipping was fast, and when I opened it I was not disappointed. It is ambidextrous, has an adjustable loop, which gives you the option to wear as a drop-down-offset holster. Or higher on the hip, and retains the firearm very securely. This would be the perfect holster if it had a retention press button to release the firearm (much like the RSR paddle holsters). I don’t have any optics on my 22/45, nor do I plan to get any for this gun, so the problem regarding the Ruger factory rail not fitting this holster was not an issue for me.

Holsters for this Ruger are, well, non-existent (unless you want some odd-ball Wester holster, etc.). The catalog showed it to be compliant with optics was a bonus plus (using a Burris FastFireII on the OEM Ruger supplied weaver rail included with the pistol). Just tried it out this morning and no dice. This holster is NOT compatible with the OEM weaver rail that Ruger INCLUDES with the pistol in the box. Looking at it, you could cut the rail down about 3cm and still use a red dot (but a ring setup would probably no longer work). Yes, this holster will be great for those with a shorty rail, or no optics mounted, but I find it incredibly frustrating that it will not not work with the rail that Ruger supplies with the pistol.
