What a pleasant way to burn up a box of 22LR ammo. Just about any 1200+fps ammo will knock it over consistently with a clean hit. It's a little bulky for the range bucket (would have been nice if the two bars were bolted together instead of welded), but I'm picking nits. It's a great challenge with a pistol & some Fed Automatch. If you're good enough to hit it, it's solid enough for low-recoil pistol rounds like .380 auto as well (I wouldn't try anything hotter than that though...). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that we hit it with some 22LR tracers a few times, which made it plainly clear that as the target tilts backwards, bullet fragments deflect off the plates at a very high angle above and behind it, high up into the air and over the trees behind the berm at our range... This is ok if you're plinking out in the middle of nowhere or have a mountain behind your range or something, but about 10 years ago a developer built a townhouse community about 1/2 mile behind our berm (despite the protests of our hunt club). So unfortunately, this one stays in the closet unless we're out at my uncle's farm. The orange polymer cone doesn't have this problem of course, but this steel tripod is more challenging and more fun (plus hollow-points won't mess it up).

I got this last week. Nice feedback when you hit it and requires you to require the target after each hit which reinforces your BRM (Basic Rifle Marksmanship) skills. On every hit it went further down range causing you to be more precise. I enjoy shooting steel targets vs. paper and recommend this target.

This target is fun and smart. The fun part is it resets itself as it rolls and it rolls well as long as the bullet makes solid impact. It even moves a little and makes that classic lead on steel clanging noise if it just skims it so you know you at least hit it. You literally just throw the target onto the range so there is no setting up like the spinning targets and it's gonna hold up a lot longer than the orange rubber box. The smart part is knowing that it won't send bullet fragments back at you and the target is just big enough that it's a challenge to hit improving your accuracy but not so hard to hit that it's discouraging. It's worth the money.
