This came in a paper wrap, neatly sealed in wax paper. I was worried some oil may have gotten through to the sling, but it looked factory fresh. I can't believe this was so cheap. I doubt you could find a nicer sling like this for less. Completely satisfied.

I bought this to use on my AK and it worked but needed modified. The end that hooks to the forearm had to be shaved down but other than that I am very happy with the sling.

The sling is very basic and leather is cheap and thin. I do use tactical slings for different firing positions. The leather studs will not take the tension to keep the weapon tight against the shoulder. Very little, if anything, you can do with it other than wear it on your shoulder to carry. I bought two and one of them has already lost its brass stud. They are nothing like the true AK sling. Nothing but a cheap fix. I do not recommend this sling at all.
