Everything you need to legalize your SKS rifle with eight, U.S. Sec 922R compliance, parts. All manufactured in the U.S.A. by TAPCO, this kit is much cheaper than buying separately.

Transform your classic SKS from an antique rifle to a modern day tactical weapon. Glass-filled nylon stock for the SKS rifle includes a six-position M4 type extending butt and features dual sling positions, slanted grip with storage compartment, and a top handguard with rail for attaching lights or lasers.

Kit also includes a Yugo muzzle brake, gas piston, 20 round magazine, operating rod, and assorted hardware. Not compatible with attachable bayonets. Also included in the kit is our popular SAW pistol grip featuring a more ergonomic angle and increased width for greater comfort and control. Inside the grip housing is a useful storage compartment. Works on all SKS models including the “D” model.

This is a good product except for the 20 round mag has feed issues. Unlike other reviews I've read mine does lock open the bolt after last round and I've had no jams during operation, but getting the first round to load is difficult. It pushes itself into the bottom of the barrel rather than entering the chamber. The gas tube was solid after initial assembly, but after the first round it permanently loosened, leaving it impossible to install optics on forearm. The cleaning rod fits too snug, and after a few rounds it was sticking out past the barrel 3 inches. One of the two bolts that attach the buttstock was too short and I had to counter sink the stock.

This stock really makes the SKS a nicer rifle to shoot. My chinese model did not get shot a lot because it did not fit me well - I tried a slip on recoil pad to make the wood stock longer, and then the ATI folding stock - didn't like either option. The TAPCO went on pretty easy - just had to remove a small amount of plastic at the front end of the hand guard. Now I can get the proper LOP and a good cheek weld for the scope or open sights, with no lateral wobble like the ATI. Nice work TAPCO. The magazines also fit perfectly (ordered five 20s and 2 fives). And the shipping was fast (as usual). Thanks CTD!!!

This is a great kit. The stock looks awesome. Just as the other gentlemen mentioned, I too had to "mildly" file the upper guard on the gas tube to fit, but no problem. My problem is with the muzzle brake. If you have a chinese or Russian sks, forget the muzzle brake. It will not work. It is for the yugo grenade launcher/replacement. I cannot understand why they do not offer a kit with a muzzle brake that would be manufactured in the USA and fit the chinese and russian models. I know the Yugo is a popular SKS, but the chinese made these in the millions. Come on guys, it surely is alot less trouble to make a slip on for the chinese and russian models. Does anyone want to buy a Yugo muzzle brake? I have one I cannot use. I know most of the fever is too get as many US parts for you SKS, but how many actually believe a ATF agent is going to dissasemble you rifle and take your word that you have an American gas piston, acuating rod etc. I would say for the chinese and russian owners, just buy the stock itself. Great product!

AWESOME !!!!!!!!! Gives my SKS a great look and feel. Very well made very sturdy and strong. Had to do very minor filing to the piece that replaces the wood on the gas tube to make it fit. Everything else fit together very well.

GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!! Very easy to install everything fit together perfectly and has a great feel. Change the look of my SKS drastically doesn't even look like the same gun. LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!
