Transform your classic SKS from an antique rifle to a modern day tactical weapon. Glass-filled nylon stock for the SKS rifle includes a six-position M4 type extending butt and features dual sling positions, slanted grip with storage compartment, and a top handguard with rail for attaching lights or lasers.

Also included in the kit is our popular SAW pistol grip featuring a more ergonomic angle and increased width for greater comfort and control. Inside the grip housing is a useful storage compartment. Works on most SKS models including the "D" model. Does not fit Albanian models. Strong, lightweight stock includes a groove for a blade bayonet and a hole for the cleaning rod.

I have installed two of these, one on my gun and one on my friends gun (both yugo 59/66). They both went on great. No filing necessary. The problem with the handguard install everyone is having is that when the original pin is pressed in, it mushrooms out a little bit making it nearly impossible to punch out. I acually took a screwdriver and a pair of pliers and bent the flanges of the retainer out enough where I could take it off without taking the pin out. (after it is off you can take the pliers and strighten it back up. Then, I put the small side of the pin on a bench grinder and smoothed the pin flush with the tube. Then it punched right out. When you put the new pin in that comes with the kit, you have to smash it all back together with the vise and you will never know you had to bend it off in the first place. Anyway, this worked for me. This stock will make your sks look and feel great.

I got the t-6 tapco stock, everything fit great except that I had to shave off some plastic at the gas tube, other than that, it fit great, I did find out that a 30 round detacable mag won't feed in the sks, I ve heard that a tapco 20 round will feed, but haven't got one yet.

Fits perfect, only had trouble taking the pin off the gas tube to remove the bracket. But thats just my gun, as for the t6. No shaving and no Complaints. Tapco is the way to go.
