I decided to buy this for a guys Norinco SKS but it wouldn't fit turns out it was to long. As people have stated it can be cut down and rethreaded if you have the tools. Other then that it's good I guess. The one I have is just over 18 inches.

Received this in 2 days from date of order! Item was exactly as stated and worked with a little bending and twistng. It is 17.25 inches long. My Norinco wants a 17 inch rod exactly, but it still works. Very simple piece, I may cut mine down by .25 inches so it doesn't hit the tongue as stated in an earlier reiew. Still a good buy and CTD really hustles to get you your merchandise.

I knew these wouldn't fit an M59/66 when I got them, but that was the whole idea. If you know what your doing, you can cut and thread them to size. The original Yugo cleaning rod is 15 5/8" long, so you'll have roughly 1.5" of play. After all that (And a trip to Harbor Freight) they work great! I've been able to replace 3 Yugo's this way so far (None shipped with cleaning rods, sadly).
