This is a great item. I bought an SKS that was missing the cleaning rod. I saw this one on CTD and thought I would give it a try. It fit like it should, and I had no problems with it. If you have an SKS and your cleaning rid is missing, buy one of these. It will complete the look of your gun.Thanks, CTD.

CTD Did it again with this one just what it was said it to be I just got 2 of then and both of them went right in to my SKS's with NO work at all. I have friends that have hard times getting theres in and out, and I have to say both of these rods go in and out better than original rods oh and they came 2 days before they said they were to have been here. Great Job CTD

Ordered on Tues. came in on Thur. (The FedEx guy was in a hurry, it's cold here in Colorado). Fit right in with the help of a Leatherman tool. The rod isn’t going anywhere. Thanks CTD. If I ever have a bad experience it will be the first.

I think the cleaning rod that came with my Norinco SKS was a bit too long, so it got lost very easily. This 17in cleaning rod is secure. It took a little weaseling it in with a flat head screw driver, but if I need this cleaning rod, at least I know it will always be in place and semi-easy to get it out. I am happy Cheaper than Dirt has this cleaning rod. These were very hard to find. I give 5 bullets for this cleaning rod and CTD actually carries them for a cheap price.

Perfect fit for my Chinese Norinco M56. Makes the gun look complete besides being a part for most sks's that are missing.
