Tired of getting pounded by harsh 12 gauge recoil? Take the sting out of shooting heavy shotgun loads with the Kicklite Tactical. Each stock is custom designed to fit your specific shotgun model and includes a matching forend (excluding Maverick 88). The 6-position collapsible stock makes it easy to shorten the length of pull for smaller framed females and youths, or to extend it for the big guys who just don't want to put up with punishing magnum loads. Package also includes recoil pad, sling swivel, and shot shell carrier. Length of pull: 11.5-15 inches, no gunsmithing required.

I've owned this for about a year now but have only recently put it through the paces at the range. This product does an excellent job of reducing recoil. I have only one issue with this product. There is a hole on the top, right where your cheek rests. I assume this hole is a relief hole for air to escape as the stock compresses. This hole has some sharp plastic edges. All three of us who shot it today were left with half-moon shaped cuts on our cheeks from this hole cutting into our cheeks upon recoil. There should be some kind of plug or hole cover shipped with it. I e-mailed Phoenix Technologies today to see if they have a solution. If they do, I'll upgrade this review to 5 bullets. Everything else is fantastic, but the sharp hole right where the cheek rests is a problem.

Ok so I purchased this stock as my first upgrade to my Maverick 88. shipping was lightning fast it was in hand within 3 days of ordering with standad shipping. Installation was a breeze 2 screws and 1bolt to remove old stock and new one went on with only one bolt with the provided Allan key. Very quality product it is entirely polymer so it does not add any weight to the weapon. Pistol grip is hollow but very sturdy. Definatley a plus having the included shell carrier. I took it to the range (within 2hours of recieving it) as I was dying to test it out. It performed very well recoil action was very smooth and took allot of kick out of firing the weapon (12 gauge 2 3/4 slugs) I put 150 rounds through the weapon and my shoulder is not sore at all normally it would be purple. Also with the adjustable positions it makes it comfortable for anyone to shoot. I let a 85 year old veteran shoot it and even he wanted to put a few more rounds thru it. Overall I think it's a must have. another top quality item from CHEAPER THAN DIRT!!!!!!!!
