The Phoenix Technologies Field Series line of stocks features imporved ergonomics and an adjustable stock for increased adaptability. The Tactical Stock includes the stock, pistol grip and shot shell carrier and features a 6 postion collapsible stock with a 11.5" to 15" length of pull. Made in USA. Injection molded of premium grade glass filled nylon in Black or Sand Storm and shock absorbing elastomers. All installation hardware and tools included. No gunsmithing. Warranty.

First bought the Mav 88 and recoil was what I expected from a 12 gauge. Installed the stock within a few minutes and ran some rounds through it not expecting a change in recoil, and actually noticed a significant difference with the stock. Only issue; it is a tad more difficult to reach the slide release by the trigger guard. Overall great choice in aftermarket stock replacement

This stock is a good replacement for your factory stocks that come on the Mossberg Maverick 88. It does install quickly and easily, just extent the stock all the way out so your hex key can tighten the bolt easily and freely. The side saddle does have a little play, and that is part of the reason I give it 4 bullets. The other is that I have not shot my Maverick 88 since installing the stock and can't judge its feel when shooting yet. It is comfortable and to be able to adjust it to my length of pull is awesome. Slide release button is harder to reach with a pistol grip, but not hard to deal with. Good product overall and love it a lot.

i bought this because it said it was specifically for the Maverick 88. Most are Mossberg 500/ Maverick units. PROS: It went on in 2-3 minutes once I had the original stock off. The included Allen wrench made it a snap. It came with a side saddle for either left or right side. Feels great, nice recoil pad. Pistol grip helps swing it up to shoot skeet. Adjustable stock lets my son & I to share the gun. CONS: My side saddle is a little loose. They warned about over tightening it so it's a bit lose but the stock is rounded there so I think there will always be some play. They pistol group changes the access to the pump release button on the left side by trigger. No biggie, I learned a different reach within 5 minutes. RESULTS: A keeper well worth the money.
