Several issues: -Thread stripped on main bolt the first time it was installed. -Mounting plate was too thick for my Mini-30 Ranch Rifle -Sits too high for mounting an optic -Difficult to level set screw design Poorly designed product: Wasted money

Purchased this during my Ruger Mini-30 converstion project to mount my Bushnell Red-Dot sight on. Installation with the included instruction was easy and once you adjust the screws initally it fits. Take your adjustment tools to the range though! I had to do adjustments in the field after 20 rounds of rapid firing post sighting in and due to the screws backing off. The side knob also has a tendency of backing off even after major tightening but after some elbow grease and vice grips after the last outting, it has stayed true. I'm still keeping my eye on it though. The elevation is good for shell ejection and have had no issues with that thankfully.
